Why are we now responsible for ISIS attacks in Russia?
"We" meaning the CIA?
I don't think the CIA being responsible for ISIS attacks in Russia makes much sense either, but I expected nothing less from you.
Especially since there's never been a link between the CIA and ISIS?

You are not keeping up here. The trained pulled out of the station and you are on the platform debating disinformation with yourself.

* It literally takes anywhere from 30 seconds to one minute of research to to debunk the purported statements of fact your team includes in their posted comments on BI, and the same amount of time to destroy insinuations arising from baseless conspiracy theories bandied about by the Right Wing.

*If the U.S. Government had the ability to plan and then execute your long list of Deep State plots, do you really think tRump would still be taking up space?

Russia has reported several incidents involving ISIL this month, with authorities saying they killed six alleged members of the group in a shootout in Ingushetia in the restive Caucasus region, and the FSB saying on March 7 it foiled an attack by Islamic State in Khorasan Province (ISKP), an Afghan affiliate of ISIL, on a Moscow synagogue."

ISIS-K has been fixated on Russia for the past two years," frequently criticizing President Vladimir V. Putin in its propaganda, said Colin P. Clarke, a counterterrorism analyst at the Soufan Group, a security consulting firm based in New York. "ISIS-K accuses the Kremlin of having Muslim blood in its hands, referencing Moscow's interventions in Afghanistan, Chechnya and Syria."

In these people's world, the US government is responsible for literally everything bad in the world.

Even Michael Tracey has finally come to his senses, which tells you how far gone these people are now.

It was a reasonable inference at the time, especially in light of what's described in this article published before today's attack. Even if this senseless destruction does not spread to Europe and the US, is it really in humanity's interest to have important infrastructure like this destroyed? Is Ukraine closer to peaceful independence? If this is winning, perhaps it's better to lose.

"Russia is taking the gloves off, and is saying so. The Special Military Operation is now a "War", brought about by increasing NATO involvement and targeting of infrastructure in Russia. This is what the American Empire's Deep State has been doing for decades, now. Supporting terrorists to effect regime change. That's what we've done in the Middle East at Israel's and the Neocons' bidding, but they've bitten off more than they can chew this time. This, apparently, was what Jake Sullivan's sudden, unannounced, trip to Kiev was aboutto tell the Ukro-Nazis to stop acting like … Ukro-Nazis."

"This is a severe and significant announcement:

"#Russia declared to be 'in a state of war' in Ukraine for the first time and no longer in a "Special Operation". "

No, it doesn't. What you are saying could be true if Russia weren't at war with Ukraine and a proxy war with the U.S., who likely blew up their undersea pipeline and denied it.

The firehose of falsehoods is playing out in real time. The US warned Putin about this awful terrorist attack and is being blamed every which way by America hating useful idiots in a myriad of conflicting and obviously counter-factual ways.

If you had asked me a few years ago if America hating Russian disinformation would dominate BI, I would have thought it impossible but here we are.

At this point, the people worth not ignoring are far outnumbered.

The strategy, and shift therein, has been recently signaled by Nuland and co, who realizing they cannot win straight up in their proxy war against Russia using Ukraine, will be resorting to "asymmetric warfare", with "surprises" coming for Russia...

….that was a smart move. If I commit mass murder in Country A, and there is an escape route through Country B, and Country A is committing mass murder in Country B, I'm thinking Country B is going to look the other way as I shuffle off to Buffalo via their byways and highways.

A smarter move, if I was an Islamic terrorist, is to go down gunning as many people as possible because I have 72 virgins waiting for me on the other side. This is how it's typically done which makes this attack a little unusual, don't you say?

Using the logic of your insinuations, I'd say Posobiec must have been planning this with ISIS. After all, he knew about it two weeks ahead of time and using his 5-D chess strategy skills, he alerted the world about it to remove suspicion from himself. Very clever!

It wasn't really that clever. Victoria Nuland only promised asymmetric 'nasty surprises' a week earlier on February 28.

Not if country A and country B are at war, and their border is surveilled with armies that shoot everything that moves. They would instead have gone to any number of country Cs, countries that are not at war with Russia, and were people travel relatively freely, like Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan etc.

The perps had plans to be picked up and evacuated at a designated point on the Ukrainian border. Going through that border without any kind of plan or guarantee would have been extremely risky.

In any case, we will probably have confirmation of this and other facts soon enough. There is a number of elements that indicate that was a fairly well organized operation with mercs that required local logistical support.

Biggest takeaway from today is that Putin can't protect his people. If he thinks Ukraine is responsible, he should probably initiate a full withdrawal ASAP. Ukraine won't stop killing Russians and all "realists" understand that there is no point in assigning blame or responsibility.

Protecting the Russian people which is job 1 for Putin and continuing this war puts them all at risk. From here on out, every single death is on Putin because he chose war. Etc etc.

Did I Putinsplain right?

Middle East Eye: Victoria Nuland: Farewell to the queen of US foreign policy disasters Marco Carnelos

"For 30 years, from Iraq, Syria and China to Ukraine, Russia and Israel, Nuland's impact on US foreign policy has been disastrous. Let's hope her successor is an improvement...

"It is a rare thing, even in the glorious annals of US diplomacy, to have had an official combine Russophobia, Sinophobia and Islamophobia to produce so much damage....

"Nuland's most important accomplishment, for which she deserves an imaginary academy award for foreign policy blunders, was her handling of the Ukrainian file..."

"There, she organised the "Maidan coup", according to the Russian narrative, where she brilliantly succeeded in bringing Ukraine under the western political umbrella and ousting Ukraine's legitimately elected president, Viktor Yanukovych. This overturned a previously agreed political deal brokered by European powers to avoid Ukraine descending into chaos. Famously, in a leaked call to the US ambassador to Ukraine, Geoffrey Pyatt, she said "**** the EU" at the time."

"There was a four-year pause in Nuland's career between January 2017 and January 2021, during which she did not deploy any ticking bombs. The reason is simple: she was not welcome in the new Trump administration."

https://www.middleeasteye.net/opinion/victoria-nuland-us-foreign-policy-queen-blunder-farewell

Nuland lands at Columbia.

"will join SIPA as the Kathryn and Shelby Cullom Davis Professor in the Practice of International Diplomacy effective July 1."
