Zelensky is incredibly impressive and if he succeeds he will go down in history as a Churchill or Lincoln like figure. An ending that Putin has no hope for.
Also, polls about a "negotiated" end to the war are very vague. I'm surprised everybody doesn't support a "negotiated" end to the war. It reminds me of the Obama days when polls showed extremely high support for immigration "reform". Both the left and the right supported "reform" they just disagreed on what that meant.

There is no group in US politics more disgusting than those who advocate for every last disastrous war, then confidently move on to supporting the next, all while serving in none.
This would be relevant here if the US had actually started the war in Ukraine.
The U.S. did start the war in Ukraine.
No.
Yes.
Of course, you could always support the fight yourself.
I already stated that I am in favor of the US supporting Ukraine with money and supplies, not Americans actually fighting in the war.

We are fighting the war, operating cruise missile, drone and HIMARS attacks planned by our intel and satellite reconnaissance for 4 years now, and more recently with targets deeper inside Russia.
I think you know this is not what I mean by "Americans fighting in the war."
We're leading the war, to the last Ukrainian.
The Ukrainians are choosing to fight the war. Not sure why you guys always want to remove their agency here.

Has it ever occurred to you that the Ukrainian People might be fed up with the U.S. NeoCons using what's left of their country & people as a battering ram to attack and [supposedly] weaken Russia?

I'm not "removing their agency". The U.S. did that for them by overthrowing their democratically-elected President (Yanukovich) in 2014, and by cancelling Ukraine's elections, & keeping puppet Zelenskyy in charge.

You can call him a "propagandist" all you want.
But you're unable to prove him wrong with verifiable facts.
The "Putin puppet" and "propagandist" labels are all you've got.

Declining to name specific officials, he emphasized that the problem extends far beyond a few senior leaders to hundreds of individuals accustomed to profiting from state funds."

Historical and Current Indicators
Ukrainian society has demonstrated a high degree of national cohesion and resistance.
Active partisan networks and intelligence resistance have already operated within Russian-occupied territories during the invasion.
Historical precedents, such as the Ukrainian Insurgent Army during and after World War II, show a deep tradition of asymmetric resistance against foreign occupation.
Potential Forms of Resistance/Sabotage
Attacks on supply lines, railways, and communication infrastructure used by occupying forces.
Intelligence Gathering:
Local networks covertly passing military positions and movements to remaining Ukrainian forces or allies.
Civil Disobedience:
Strikes, non-cooperation with occupational administrations, and the underground distribution of independent media.
Guerrilla Warfare:
Armed rural and urban insurgencies utilizing concealed caches of weapons and local terrain knowledge.

Russia has already destroyed nearly 90% of Ukraine's modern warehousing capacity.
Logistics hubs, retail distribution centers, warehouses, and businesses are being hammered. Kyiv and the surrounding region until recently regarded as relatively safer ground for major businesses are now enduring relentless attacks.
And behind every business reduced to rubble are thousands of jobs, the paychecks Ukrainian families depend on, tax revenues, supply chains, and the livelihoods of entire communities.
When businesses can no longer operate, people lose their jobs. They lose stable incomes. Families lose security. Communities lose their economic lifeline.
Ukraine is sliding into ruin.
And what is Zelensky doing? Still obsessing over escalation. Still dreaming of expanding the exchange of strikes, as though Ukraine had an endless supply of factories, warehouses, infrastructure, money, and human lives to burn through.
There comes a point when reckless escalation stops looking like strategy and starts looking like self-destruction.
Putin is waging war against Ukraine. That is obvious. But Zelensky's increasingly reckless fixation on escalation is turning him into a danger to Ukraine in his own right one that may prove no less devastating for the country he is supposed to protect.

The war in Ukraine keeps proving that things can always get worseeven when you think you've already hit rock bottom. In Kherson, Russian forces have destroyed the core infrastructure people need to survive the winter. That means no heat, no electricity, and likely shortages of food and water. Bombs, drones, and missiles fall on people's heads every day.
The Ukrainian authorities are telling Kherson residents… to leave. Volunteers already say money will not be enough. Everyone is searching for housing for many months ahead and trying to figure out how to evacuate people. One cannot simply donate.
Neither the national nor the regional government is offering anythingno cash aid, no housing, no shelters. Nothing. Only the instruction to leave.
But most of the people who remain in Kherson cannot leave because they lack money or face physical limitations. Not to mention pensioners who will never find or pay for housing on their own. Some people have no cars. Some have no smartphones. Some cannot even use the internet. Many live on pensions of $80150 a month.
This is another grim piece of evidence that money from Western taxpayers is not protecting Ukrainians. It is being spent instead on further escalating the war and enriching the military lobby.
