With site impressions up, advertisers should come back. In a few weeks. Twitter has also upped their purging of child pornography links, something the prior well-paid months failed to do. Apple back advertising.

Yes, Musk is discovering that content moderation is actually necessary, much like the previous leadership did.

Who could have known content moderation would be important for a website whose main source of revenue is brand advertising.

Talking about views is silly. Advertisers didn't pause their spending on Twitter bc of view counts. They paused it for the same reason they don't advertise on 4chan or Alex Jones' show.

Sure. That's why Twitter Dump #1 went to two Liberals who still actually practice classic journalism, not Liberal narrative talking points.

New York Post: FBI, Big Tech, Big Media: Partners in collusion
By Michael Goodwin

"...Moreover, as Intercept reporter Lee Fang has detailed and as a former Twitter official confirmed, the FBI held weekly meetings in Silicon Valley with tech officials about policing disinformation. Of course, their definition of disinformation was so broad as to include virtually anything that made Joe Biden or Democrats
look bad."

"But knowing all that, it still would be naive to think we know the whole story. For example, we don't know who in the FBI was running the censoring operation, whether it was a rogue outfit or came from the top. Nor do we know if the operation continues now...."

"There is also a good chance the censorship effort involved other federal agencies. Fang and his Intercept colleague Ken Klippenstein reported in October that documents and court testimony show the Department of Homeland Security has "an expansive effort . . . to influence tech platforms." ..."

"The New York Times, for example, waited four days before printing a lazy article that tried to undermine the story by saying some Post newsroom employees were uncertain of its veracity. It's shocking even now to realize Times reporters had access to Tony Bobulinski, Hunter Biden's former partner, but refused to print that he confirmed the authenticity of the email naming Joe Biden as "the big guy" slated for a secret 10% cut in a joint venture with a Chinese conglomerate...."

"Did the president of the United States profit from the selling of access to him, and is he compromised in dealing with foreign powers? No one in Big Media seems to care.

"The other possibility for media complicity is they might have gone along as a favor to their FBI minders because it fit their shared agenda to defeat Trump and elect Biden.

"After all, they were teammates in a similar effort in 2016, the Russia hoax to try to elect Hillary Clinton. That one failed and they were determined to succeed this time. So better not look too closely at Biden...."

"Another unresolved piece of that alliance is the cabal of 51 former intelligence officers who signed a letter saying the laptop had "all the earmarks" of Russian disinformation. None had seen the laptop, but their letter became the story the media seized on and offered Joe Biden a lifeline in his next debate with Trump. Some signers still defend the letter, and not one has apologized for misleading the public...."

"And lest you forget their power, remember that Joe Biden was elected president because millions of voters were not allowed to learn The Post had unmasked his deep connections to his son's corrupt schemes.

"The people who did that are not threats to democracy. They are its destroyers."

No. Deep State Jim Baker scrubbed what was released to two Liberal, honest journos. Update allegedly coming.

What was purged will be intetesting to see.

Animal torture and dick pics are clearly against Twitter policy. Is this what the furd professor was posting when Twitter shadow-banned / content filtered him? It is so clever to argue combating irrelevant extremes to justify poor behavior.

A Rolling Stone Democrat writer who also penned the book "Insane Clown President: Dispatches from the 2016 Circus" wants to help President Trump?
That seems to be the deal he made with Musk, yes. Would be good if they came clean on the terms of the deal.
https://taibbi.substack.com/p/note-to-readers-on-the-twitter-files

"In the rush to get all this done, I chose words poorly. A lot has been made about the line about how I "had to agree to certain conditions" to work on the story. I wrote that assuming the meaning of that line would be obvious. It was obvious. Still, the language was just loose enough to give critics room to make mischief, and the stakes being what they are, they of course did. That's on me, and a lesson going forward. For the record, the deal was access to the Twitter documents, but I had to publish on Twitter. I also agreed to an attribution ("Sources at Twitter"). That's it."

Pretty hilarious that:

a) Everything that people thought was happening at Twitter was happening at Twitter.
b) Everyone who said that part 1 was a nothing burger had to shut up after it was revealed that one of the main architects of the fake Russiagate conspiracy, Jim Baker, was vetting the Twitter files without Musk's knowledge and got fired for it.
c) Unable to refute any of the facts that have been released, corporate media types (particularly NBC affilated journalists) and the people who breathlessly regurgitate their talking points have resorted to ad hominem attacks against the journalists.

It's been a great week for a free speech and a bad week for censorship advocates, the corporate media, and Democrats and there isn't anything they can do to stop it.

You're telling me that Trump's FBI (run by republican Chris Wray) and Trump's DOJ (run by republican Bill Barr) got involved in the 2020 election against Trump?

Damn, bro. You make Trump sound like an incredibly weak and ineffective President.

But I agree with you that republicans can't be trusted.

The political establishment did not want Trump elected the first time nor reelected for a second term. If that makes Trump weak or ineffective, than he definitely was.

Maybe but the FBI interfered in the 2016 election to torpedo Hillary's campaign. This is nothing new for the FBI. It is just new that they went after your side. I believe the FBI should be ended and replaced with a new Federal police force with better controls. Do you?

I don't know. Bad conduct, such as Trump Companies', should be investigated.

In early July 2016, after a year-long investigation that reportedly cost more than $20 million, Comey pronounced that "no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case" against her for mishandling classified information. This caused Republicans to erupt in rage.

Four months later11 days before the 2016 presidential electionComey sent a letter to Congress saying he was reopening the investigation in light of new information found, but not yet examined, by the F.B.I. It was now the Democrats' turn to erupt in ragea rage that only grew when two days before the election Comey announced there was nothing new or incriminating about the purportedly new information.

Since when does the FBI hold press conferences about the people they have investigated and are not pressing charges. Particularly in that extraordinary event when they presented Hillary negatively even though they were not indicting. At the same time members of the FBI were leaking info about the Hillary investigation to the Trump campaign.

During this same time the FBI was suppressing information that Trump was being investigated.

You seem to want your cake and eat it too. You seem to only object when the FBI interferes against your team. I condemn all their political interference. They have a long history of it. Repeal and Replace the FBI. Do you agree?

How can a Populist candidate or POTUS counter the proven-corrupt FBI, DOJ, Dept of State, ODNI, and
MSM?

The quicky "investigation" of Hillary Clinton was done as cover, and was a sham.

And why does the Deep Stare want another establishment sippy cup President?

- Trillions more in spending
- Proxy war w Russia led by boob Anthony Blinken?
- Military needs hi deeds of Billions more to re-arm
- $300 Billion in Pfzer sales?
- More laundering of gov't money to Ukraine, to NGOs and sham crypto currency companies, who route a portion back to US politicians

A note of caution on the Twitter Files releases. A similar framework that we saw in the John Durham investigation. Both Bari Weiss and Matt Taibbi are drawing attention to the Twitter executives, but NOT drawing any attention to the gov't officials.

Comey shouldn't have. He didn't want his legacy tarnished by the perception that his FBI was shielding Hillary by not investigating her against the weight of the evidence.
