Just 2 days ago, Chump was calling for Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan to be fired.

Now Chump is promoting a "deal" in which the Govt takes a financial stake in the troubled chip maker.

Im sure that will work out well.

"The big picture: Global tariffs are putting upward pressure on costs. U.S. businesses are bearing the brunt, contrary to White House hopes that foreign suppliers would take some of the hit.

Between the lines: Import prices might cool if exporters around the globe were discounting goods to help ease the tariff burden for their U.S. buyers.

But the opposite was the case last month: Import prices rose at the quickest pace this year, "casting further doubt on the 'foreigners will pay' talk from the administration," ING global economist James Knightley writes.

Threat level: Wholesale prices rose at the fastest pace in three years last month higher costs that might be passed on to the consumer down the line.

Fresh and dry vegetable prices rose by almost 40% last month, the largest spike since inflation took off in 2022."

From the article:

"Economic research shows the new tariffs function much like a regressive tax, hitting lower- and middle-income households particularly hard. The average family in the second-lowest income tier faced an annual cost increase of $1,700; those in the top income decile paid upwards of $8,100 more per year, according to Yale Budget Lab."

*I would have preferred a "significant impact in reducing the debt" by not having the Trump tax cuts which will cost $4.2 trillion over the decade 2026-2035, and roughly half of the benefits will go to people making over roughly $320,000 (that is, people with incomes in the top 5 percent).

Canada - PM Carney announces end to all retaliatory Tariffs President Trump gives nothing, U.S. Tariffs remain.

No digital services taxes, no countervailing duty tariffs. No reciprocity tariffs on Steel and Aluminum. No retaliatory tariffs (reciprocal/baseline). The USA keeps 50% tariffs on steel and aluminum against Canada, and Canada only gets 25% tariffs against U.S. steel/aluminum.

But it looks like USMCA will still be scrapped, and being a pass through for China will come to an end.

India is the 5th largest economy in the world.
By 2030, it's GDP is projected to reach $7.3 trillion.

Last year, the U.S. imported nearly $80 Billion in goods from India.
You might want to educate yourself to avoid looking so ignorant.

No.
And that's a very good thing, which we should be thankful for!


You know, it's a good thing we all die in the end, because if we had solved lifespan, then at some point an evil person (like Trump) would have somehow made it so that the human race all went extinct long ago, and you and I would not be here.

He may still accomplish that (Kill All Humans, not Live Forever), so watch out!
