I think the evidence that came out from the Epstein emails that Trump gave oral sex to Bill Clinton is not a problem. If that happened it was presumably between two consenting adults. I dont think it should be the focus of the Epstein Trump reporting. If Trump gave Bill Clinton oral sex, as suggested in an Epstein email thread, I think it is their business.

Newsom has had seven years to thin forests, cut fire breaks, conduct controlled burns, ramp up summer wildfire crews, hammer the Feds to thin Federal lands, remove Eucalyptus trees, create new logging ventures, train prison crews to fight summer fires, buy Super Scooper airplanes, etc., and he hasn't. He could have done all of the above, declared an Emergency, put all hands on deck, made substantial progress thinning our overgrown forests, and insurance companies would have taken note.

I was talking with my unintelligent friend from 8th grade today about Trump's amorality and I began counting his cheated-upon-3-wives, his known affairs, his confession on Howard Stern to being a "sexual predator", his grab them by the P line….do anything you want…

My friend is a Mormon who was a virgin on his wedding night at 30, and he's only been with 1 woman. Honorable, and unimportant to this post other than to say, - "so you'd think he'd be with me in the amorality line of thinking, right?"

A conditioned "republican", he didn't say, "wow, you're right, he's bad." Instead he said, "Well, Biden was a horrible president", and in his litany of complaints added: Clinton, Monica Lewinsky, Hillary is an ass bag, or some such.

I calmly laughed. "Do you see what you did? We were talking about Trump's womanizing, and you suddenly flipped to 3 other topics and people.
Why can't you just condemn the man on his own merits?"

Maybe some here don't care about body count, or see it as a measure of personal restraint, a character trait that carries over to other aspects of how one will conduct himself, or herself, in other aspects of life. But you'd think that my friend would, right? Given his background?

I mean, if I bolted him down to it, or course he condemns Trump! But the partisanship is SO STRONG that he forgets himself and his value system and instead regurgitates the pre conditioned, pre programmed response!

The mantra is repeated so often the response is Pavlovian.



It IS possible, quite easy, to train people subconsciously! Ever watch a hypnotist do a stage show? Sometimes people in the audience become hypnotized and they didn't even know it. They get brought up on stage.

Or, just ask yourself why ad campaigns are everywhere. Because they work!

We humans don't understand why we behave or think the way we do. We live most our lives in the subconscious, yet think we are so evolved!
Yes, we are so evolved that we were able to offload the keys to survival to the subconscious. So that our prefrontal cortex could figure out new things, like how to go to the moon.

I don't care about body count from a politician. I do care about how how a person treats other people and it is hard to imagine somebody getting to a 1,000 person bodycount and treating all of them respectfully. But even if Trump's bodycount is only 20, it is clear he has mistreated women. That is just from his own statements (grab em by the P). He is a disgusting person of dark, negative moral character. Your Mormon friend who supports him has low moral character simply for his support of putting such a person in such a position of power.

My Mormon friend is the product of an abusive racist father, a household of 8 kids who lived in a completely junky house like Sanford and Son. Very dysfunctional. He was in some "remedial" classes in high school and did not receive high grades.

He's an interesting study to me because while he sometimes acts and talks like his father, he also can be the nicest guy imaginable who spreads sunshine wherever he goes. He's a very simply person who works hard and is consistent and honest as you would dream of as an employee.

I've been posting a lot lately about the power of the subconscious - garbage in, garbage out - monkey see, monkey do - and he would be a good example. His initial move on things is knee jerk, patterned. If I get him to slow down, think his way through things, he'll arrive at a different conclusion.

It's interesting to hear you say he's of low moral character because he's probably the highest moral character of anyone I know. He makes a low wage, yet gives stuff away to charities and gifts to others. He cannot tell a lie.

Yet he is programmed in some very poor ways, and I agree with you, it's troubling.

Messages delivered from on high matter. And when the leader is a hate spewing, insult throwing sleazebag cheat, it trickles down.

Trump has been a scourge of darkness upon this nation for 10 years now. I cannot wait for him to be squeezed into juice in a steel press.

Yes, JFK was a real slimeball. Did that affect his presidency? Maybe it got Marilyn Minroe taken out, him and Bobbie Kennedy real cads.

Lying and embellishing are two different things. The closed border and deportations will help millions of people, like your friend, who have to unfairly compete with 30 - 50 million illegal immigrants. Hopefully the new vetting of SNAP benefits will also root out decades of fraud and abuse.
