He had some bruises on his body, but those could have occurred when he was cut down as opposed to in a struggle.

He was arrested on July 8, 2019, on federal sex trafficking charges.
The indictment included: sex trafficking of minors (18 U.S.C. 1591) and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking.
The maximum penalty for the sex trafficking count was up to 40 years in prison, plus up to 5 years for the conspiracy count.
But Epstein died by suicide on August 10, 2019, while in custody, before the trial or sentencing could happen.

So, there was no "release date" for that later case he never completed it.
