It sounds like Mark Mckenzie (27yo, Toulouse - French Ligue 1) will replace the injured George Campbell in the USMNT November senior team roster. Mckenzie's Toulouse takes on Gio Reyna's Strasbourg today.
Presumably the other possible replacement I thought of, Josh Wynder, will be with the U-23 camp.
Not sure if Weston Mckennie will also be replaced or whether he is healthy enough for camp.
Too bad this injury happened when your guy was establishing himself as a second team center back. I like him a lot better than McKenzie. I like the US being big and athletic at all back positions. McKenzie is neither.
Josh Wynder was not a good player when I last saw him last a year or two ago. I doubt he is a good player now. He does not have enough juice.
I like Ellis as Reyna's backup at the 8/10 position if McKennie cannot make it. I think McKennie should take Adams position when healthy. Or Reyna's and move Reyna back. A Tillman, McKennie, Reyna midfield is what I would like.
