Last year we turned it around and had the banger in Westwood so there was still some juice left, these last 3 games have erased all thatEcon141 said:

He's done coaching but one thing that has been mentioned is that his coaching dream was to take his native West Virginia to the promised landAPT43Bear said:
Saban looks good in blue and gold…. Maybe he'll get bored and want the ultimate challenge. (Pipe dream of course)
If Rivera (somehow) is the head coach, it will have to be on very friendly terms for the campusCalAlumnus13 said:
I love crazy ideas, so here's one: we lock Wilcox in his office until his contract ends, and Rivera volunteers his time to coach.
Same colors. It'd scratch the same itch, I promise Coach.Strykur said:He's done coaching but one thing that has been mentioned is that his coaching dream was to take his native West Virginia to the promised landAPT43Bear said:

Christ these stats are nuts
3rd Downs 6-16 vs 1-12
Turnovers 0 vs 2
Possession 38:29 vs 21:31
We nearly doubled time of possession, +2 turnovers, held them to 1 3rd down conversion...no ****ing way man

Decisions have consequences. There were a number of decisions made today that did not work out. You are the HC own it.Strykur said:

There is also thought behind the flat earth theory. Doesn't mean any of that is of intelligent thought.Strykur said:

I think part of it is knowing your team as well. He talks about being in a close game and trying to get an edge. However, I think if it's a matchup of two high octane offenses such as peak Chip Kelly Oregon, it's a possible strategy. However, our offense oftentimes has trouble scoring especially in the red zone and short yardage situtions. We need every point we can get and not give any away.oski003 said:BadNewsBear1 said:

It was an easy pass to an open receiver on the 2 point and it was thrown nearly out of bounds.
Yes, kickers need to make 40 yard field goals.
Regardless, the head coach is ultimately responsible. He needs to get an OL coach. It may be too late. He loses any of his next 3, and he should get the axe.
Justin Wilcox doesn't agree that Cal pulled back on the reins on the drive that ended with a missed field goal late in the fourth quarter. He feels the Bears had good running plays called and said they were trying for first downs not playing for the FG.
