Remove that and the pick in Boston and we are looking at 3-5 trending towards 3-9, against the easiest schedule in modern program history

Isn't Wikcox' one supposed strength - defense?

He lost to a 2-win program, and was torched in Q3 (no halftime adjustments?).

I listened to his post game presser, and it sure seems like he's blaming the players. He throws in the perfunctory "we need to coach better", but then he goes into a diatribe about 'how this is basic tackling' which they are failing to do. Which means Wilcox and coaches are ineffective coaches, ineffective motivators, or both.
