The way JC is barely doing just enough to keep his job is so frustrating.
I listened to his post game presser, and it sure seems like he's blaming the players. He throws in the perfunctory "we need to coach better", but then he goes into a diatribe about 'how this is basic tackling' which they are failing to do. Which means Wilcox and coaches are ineffective coaches, ineffective motivators, or both.

Perhaps it's fitting that the ghost of failure hangs over Cal on Halloween as Wilsux remains entrenched as the head football coach.

Next week will be nasty but do we try an interim coach or will Ron be fine with Wilcox getting waxed in Louisville
Wilcox finishes it out. If a change was going to be made, we would have already seen it. Especially today. There's no expectation of us win next week. This game was in reach. That drop by Dejesus was a backbreaker. So unless he gets sacked tomorrow, the only other benchmark is Stanford. And why dump him with one game to go after we play Furd?
