back in the day during the cal's monster class (https://bearinsider.com/forums/8/topics/11616/1) of 11,000 loud as **** crazy azz fans stormin' the floor after their mcdonalds all americans delivered epic victories the cost of a basketball ONLY practice facility on the north parking lot adjacent to haas pavillion wuz $21,500,000

shocky made the INNOVATIVE suggestion to those in power that we sell the courtside seats in perpetuity for $1,000,000 per pair with a goal of 25 FOUNDERS CLUB members or $25,000,000 to pay for the basketball only practice facility



and shocky offered to personally collect the $25,000,000 from his fellow courtside seat donors (along with own donation of $1,000,000) & keep in mind at that point we had a lead donation commitment of $10,000,000 from doug & lisa goldman (before knowlton alienated them & that pledge got pulled) to get us up to $35,000,000 for a tricked out facility...my personable/relentless fundraising skills & follow up are 2nd to none & this would've 100% been a done deal if shocky's infrastructure deal wuz approved



these days general james knowlton is still peddling his $140,000,000+ artist rendering of a 3 story con artist practice facility for multiple sports (that nobody cares about like quidditch) that will NEVER evah get built

shocky's been to several lopes basketball games (fun environment with loud as **** sold out crowds, all students get FREE tixs) the last couple of years as a cinderella ncca tournament team last season & coach madsen is getting a high basketball iq floor general that naturally/unselfishly facilitates his teammates (unlike jalen cone) that got a pure shooting stroke (41.0% on 3 pointers last season on a limited # of shots & a career 80%+ free throw shooter)...blackshear is not a lockdown defender due to his size & will need to be coached up by the staff in order to compete against acc competition, he anticipates ball movement well & will be a legit passing lane ball stealing threat for the bears

jovan is currently recovering from a right knee injury (check out the brace in the foto below) that limited his minutes last season (played 15.4 mpg, he wuz named the wac preseason player of the year) & recently became a dad ...his reputation among the gcu staff is a hard worker that is receptive to coaching/development...played high school ball in phx for bad dude henry bibby jr (forced out for sexually harassing a teacher) at powerhouse shadow mountain (teammate of low gpa eddie house jr)...blackshear earned a bachelor of science degree in sports management from gcu & will be enrolled in berkeley's grad cert program

marbury is 6'3" & ambidextrous, his dad played for the phoenix suns back in the day

His dad actually played for 5 NBA teams, and finished his career in China, and was a bit of a legend there. His dad was a NY Playground legend, and would go on to play one year for great NYC recruiter Bobby Cremins at Ga. Tech...

sarr's build is very similar to marcus lee, my take in seeing him in person is that he's 6'11"+ & around 210-215 lbs...as the video shows he's an explosive shot blocker with instinctual timing & an active rebounder/defender along with an aggression for slam dunking (that's something i'm trying to coach up the king, don't dribble just flush the ball)


olivier is a 2017 prospect that's articulate (stanford has been in the mix), a true citizen of the world & plays with the elite hops needed for cal's go all the way up class (2017)

jalen also had a 3.8 gpa & wuz very lightly recruited out of high school despite padraig telling me about his absolutely pure shooting stroke (anybody with a basketball iq will honestly tell you that more than half of the guys on this year's roster got uncorrected crooked azz shooting mechanics), i can tell you with 90% confidence that if i had not been terminated from cal basketball that jalen williams would've been a california golden bear...bet

jalen williams ended up at santa clara & was drafted #12 in the 2022 national basketball league draft



both cody & jalen williams should've ended up in berkeley (it should also be pointed out that 2 of padraig's biz partners are cal grads that also run the section 7 recruiting extravaganza in glendale arizona), the point here is that it takes a lifetime to build a love affair with cal basketball but only 2 emails to terminate that love

but now knowlton & his handpicked non innovative lazy azz bureaucrat markeisha have decided to NOT offer FREE tixs to all students even tho poor as **** students can't afford the season pass & their non marketing adept supporters think a couple of thousand fans at most home games is just fine

and chancellor lyons is NOT gonna intervene & issue an executive proclamation that ALL students are WELCOME at all sporting events at haas pavilion & memorial stadium (which is gonna result in tens of thousands of EMPTY seats for the uc davis season opener & a lotta TARPS) in addition to NOT taking termination action (per shocky's most recent public information requests) via the 2nd outside legal investigation into jenny & the con artist for their beyond breaking bad roles with the suicidal (and racist abused) women's swimmers
