Why do you continue to ignore that the plane's location is publicly available information? AND Musk promised he wouldn't ban the account but changed his mind when he realized it would score points with the he-man conservative fan boy crowd?

**I am not going to speculate on his "true" intentions of suspending the tweets of his plane's live departures and arrivals. Perhaps the incident where his family was in danger indeed impacted this decision.

I'm used to Unit2 arguing in bad faith, but this is literally one of the worst reasoned arguments he's made on this board. People can choose to appear in PUBLIC or otherwise choose to disclose their own real time personal information. It doesn't give a third party the right to do that. It is not hard.

Elno is the only one who reveals his real-time location info on Twitter, which he does several times per week, if not more. The college kid was only highlighting where Elno's plane happened to be flying from and to, not even remotely a personal risk in the grand scheme of things for a person like Elno. The kid had similar plane tracking accounts for other tycoons like Cuban and Gates, and it wasn't a big deal.

This really comes down to Elno's subjective feelings about the fact that his use of a private plane required that information to be available to the public. Totally within his rights to prevent that information from being shared on a platform he owned, but that doesn't mean that everyone needs to pretend like his subjective desires form some sort of objective reasonable truth about security or anything like that.

My arguments have been entirely consistent with this POV and have been in good faith the entire time.

I think Elon's incredible intelligence (his ability to digest an incredibly broad range of technical data) combined with his supreme confidence and brazenness has been incredibly valuable for organizing thousands of others and driving them toward a vision of product creation which he has in his mind!
That should not be diminished, for lots of people may have portions but not the whole, and so nothing gets built.

However, I think his forays into social behavior are off. And sadly, I think his mental focus has shifted from the former to the latter, and he's just not as skilled here.

But, this is the way it goes. Artists have their Blue periods just the same.
