Anti Trump zealots, fearful, too, he'll get the Noble. Just Biden's war active. Idiots on Reddit believe Russia is being devastated.
I'm good with Trump getting the Noble. What's that for? Who awards it?
And what did Obama get a Noble for?
Obama never had the honor of getting a Noble, I'm pretty sure that's just reserved for Trump.

If Trump really is going to enforce a permanent cease fire in Gaza, then he does deserve credit for righting the ship, but he as well as the Biden administration also carry the blame for the death and destruction as well as the medieval starvation siege on a population of 2.1 millions that might have lost several hundred thousands in some of the most horrendous conditions imaginable.
If Trump lets Bibi resume the genocide after he recovers the remaining Israeli POWs, then he's a war criminal and a scumbag. I really hope that will not be the case.

Just to be clear, are you saying that if Israel did continue on the offensive that would make Trump a war criminal?

Israel can't do much without US approval, material military support and funding. Their economy would have collapsed without the 100+ billions they are getting this decade from US taxpayers, and without the US military cover and multi-billion THAAD defensive cover they would have been toast against Iranian missiles.
Trump can block Israel from resuming the Gaza genocide after they recover their hostages and Hamas disarms, Bibi's crowd wants to extend their bloodlust, let's see what Trump does.

Absolutely fascinating that as the cease fire has been in the news and ultimately came to fruition today, the people in this thread have little if anything to say about the deal. Those criticizing Israel for that past two years have not been advocating for Hamas to accept the peace plan and now, no celebration of the cease fire.
It is almost like these poster don't really care about Palestinians.
I hope it holds, but I have seen announcements like this before. Waiting and seeing before celebrating anything.

Just hours after the deal - as in January - Israel shoots at Palestinians waiting to return home.
Before any next step, member states must ensure that Israel honours the ceasefire. https://t.co/ne0YvhrVOj
An IDF reservist soldier was killed in a Hamas sniper attack in Gaza City yesterday afternoon, the military announces.

You and Francesca have to be some kind of stupid to not realize that both sides keep fighting until the cease fire takes effect. It just took effect about an hour ago,
Hamas was fighting until the very end.
They tried to kidnap a soldier.
They killed a soldier.
But of course, to you, Palestinians are only victims and never responsible for anything they do or cause.
For two years, the media has told you that this is Israel “targeting Hamas.” pic.twitter.com/nvZ88YlrSr

Cool story. Now do Egypt, Turkey and Qatar vis-a-vis Hamas.
Also, what is your source for the claim that Israel has received $100B+ in aid this decade (i.e., the last 3 years)? I don't believe Israel received that much in the past 10 years, spanning two decades.
Quote:
Given the scale of current and future spending, it is clear the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) could not have done the damage they have done in Gaza or escalated their military activities throughout the region without U.S. financing, weapons, and political support.

That is irrelevant to my point.
When the deal was still not final, all of the "cease fire now" crowd and protesters suddenly got very quiet even though a deal was reportedly imminent. If they really wanted a "cease fire now" they should/would have been stating that Hamas should accept the plan accepted by Israel and endorsed by all key stakeholders. Those people should have been urging and and to the extending possible pressuring Hamas. Yet complete crickets from most of that crowd and most posters on this board.
And to your separate point, perhaps you and people with your views should be publicly supporting the deal and demanding that both parties - most notably Hamas - comply? As has always been the case, Hamas controls the destiny of the Palestinian people and they can make the cease fire permanent by accepting and performing upon the 21 point plan.

That's your evidence that Israeli soldiers are bloodthirsty devils? I could show you a thousand clips of "Palestinian" women and and children celebrating the death of Jews and pledging their commitment to add to the number.
And by the way, this guy's use of the word engineer is well chosen. What have Gazan engineers engineered in Gaza since taking it over? Tunnels and weapons, that's it. They inherited all the infrastructure from Israel and turned it into a terrorism factory. Every inclination, every ounce of productive energy that they have is directed toward the destruction of Israel and all the Jews with it. So if Israel is killing engineers, they are merely dismantling the terror machine.
