"Unhinged"? Do you just make up the meaning of words to suit the occasion? Or did you think that was a funny joke?

You really suck at posting when it's just your words. Stick to spam posting X droppings and dope memes. It's the only thing you are any good at doing.

I don't disagree that government programs should be scrutinized, but it shouldn't be done at the whim of one lone unelected bureaucrat like Elon Musk. While some programs have probably outlived their usefulness, others are still very useful and just shutting everything down is foolish and reckless.
You need someone outside of the system to do this. Shut it down and then we'll see what is needed and what isn't.

But it isn't being looked at by someone outside the system. It's being reviewed and changed by the new system, and in accordance with that system's agenda. You're good with this because it's your side. MAGA.

I would think that reigning in any and all spending is in everyone's interest. It's fine by me and I'm sure fine for most of America.

It's fine if Congress also gets a say. Not fine if it's done unilaterally by one guy who no one elected.

I am imagining that you have a light that drains a light bulb every day and you just continuously replace the light bulb over and over again, not bothering to see if there is anything wrong with the fixture.

Silly analogy, but sure, I'll play along. I noticed a light bulb went out and as I went to change it I found my electrical line had been split in a thousand different directions. It turns out I was supplying power to the majority of the houses on my block for free while I paid an unbelievably high electricity bill. Then when I had the plumbing issue, after taking out some walls to find the problem, inside I found numerous doors and entrances that my neighbors were using to help themselves to my food, water, cable, internet, heat, etc. for free. I was essentially giving it all away! Then I hired someone to assist and I gave him $1,000 to fix these issues, but he keeps misplacing the money and now says he can't find over half of it. If anyone is looking to hire a handyman, DO NOT hire Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Associates!

Wrong. Once I find the issues, I repair them and leave what is working alone. Don't fix what isn't broken.

Fortunately, that is not the case. We have Trump and Rubio to make these decisions.

The narrative that Musk is making final decisions - much less solely making decisions - is fake news. Particularly ironic coming from those who supported Biden who pretty clearly was not making many of his own decisions.

You're really good at assigning beliefs to me. I never stated much enthusiasm for Biden or Harris, just that they were preferable to Trump. That's a low bar to clear. As for your earlier assertions of my beliefs, I never promoted the pee tape, never got into Russiagate much as I hadn't spent time looking into it and my main concern about Hunter's laptop was the chain of custody. It spent a long time in the hands of people with a partisan agenda. I expect they had plenty of opportunities to tinker with the contents though I'll agree Hunter Biden is a low life scum.

You are not the only person in this thread asserting Musk was making decisions. My comment was not directed at you specifically - I responded to the most recent such assertion which happened to be yours.

Musk pretty clearly is making decisions on his own right now. Yes, theoretically Trump would have the authority to stop him, but I've seen no evidence of that happening yet.

This is a good thing. The actual good deeds will resume shortly. The trillions of laundering will be slowed markedly. Evil deserves a cleave to the heart.
