C'mon, Cal's D looks like absolute trash. It's early and I'm still pretty sure we're gonna win this one, but there's no use pretending the D has been even close to acceptable.

Everything Davis does works.
Every time I watch one of these classic Wilcox struggles against FCS teams, I always get the feeling if we just swapped coaching staffs we'd have a significantly better team and save about $4m a year.
You realize the D Line is supposed to rush the passer too right?

He built the team though. He's good at that. Good at making it a "family." Not good at strategy, prep, or game management. It's maddening. It's embarrassing, really. The stat card showing 8th year as head coach, and massive losing record says it all. Nowhere but cal is this ok.
This looks like a 2 or 3 win team right now.
Wilcox has one of the best jobs in college football. Over 5 million a year and no pressure to win.
