I thought for sure Wilcox would go for it on 4th and Five. I was wrong

looked like he went into the locker room....never a good sign, unless he has to pee.

Now back, but hobbling a fair bit.

Looks like Ott is injured because we treat him like a 250 bruising back up the middle

Wilcox is a mediocre coach, but no coach will succeed without the school's support. I honestly don't know why the school wanted to remain a power 4 school. This school spent a ton of money on facilities but won't go all in on trying to become a football powerhouse. It's pure insanity.

What specifically do you think the school could be doing so that Wilcox wins more games?

I would look at the relative recruiting budgets. We haven't done well with OL in a decade plus

We had Top 10 offenses under Dykes. They gave our QBs plenty of time and our RBs had high per carry averages.

It isn't the recruiting budget.

Wilcox has had bad recruiters as OL and DL coaches mostly guys from Oregon (until Bloesch at OL last year).

I dont want Ott back in this game.

Ott's in tears on the sideline. Not good. This is what happens when a stupid coaching staff insists on repeatedly running him into the middle of the D line.

Goff did not have plenty of time under dykes.

Baylor put 21 up in the first quarter. Just saying.

Update: With 4 minutes to go in the first quarter.

Ott's gait actually seemed to improve during that long shot of him just now

Nothing but speculation.

I suspect we wont know until the Auburn game as Wilcox will want to keep freeze guessing.

On replay it looked like Charlie Horse. A defender landed with his knee on his calf. Probably a deep bruise. Hopefully no bone or Achilles damage.

Let's just hope he's in tears because his day is done (but not his season).

Well he had enough time to throw for nearly 5,000 yards on the season and be the #1 player taken in the NFL draft without tremendous mobility.

Davis Webb put up good numbers too and got drafted.

Like I said he wanted to get off the field quickly probably because he knew his day would be over after that

Agreed, but the offensive playcalling is still not good. Fortunately, the other team is a FCS team.
