4thGen - what/how has been Knowlton's reaction to this and so many other responses from players leaving the program. Is he showing any clue at all, that there are good ways to run a program and bad? Or is his head still in the sand?4thGenCal said:Yes will be moving on, strictly due to reduced playing time. Joel absolutely sees a huge morale change with the players staying and the workouts have been a marked improvement in his words. The assistants are allowed to be directly involved (under Fox - he literally lead most every drill and the assistants would rarely break in/correct/lead a drill etc. Had the new staff been here earlier, Joel would have stayed. With the new staff likely having 4 combo guards, the outcome would be 10 minutes/game+- and Joel wants to go where its a competitive team and He can get 25+ minutes/game. Iona, Buffalo, Toledo at this point, programs that He is most interested in (knows either key staff member/coach or players there). Joel also likes the strength and conditioning program much better than the previous training regimen. Said drills/fitness direction much better suited to actual game play. Since its his last season, and PT is key, its the reason for Him moving on - otherwise He would be staying as He does believe the future will be very good under the new staff. Personally JB is a special person and gave his all to the program - wish him the absolute best in developing his game to allow him success in playing professionally, be it overseas or wherever.calumnus said:Shocky1 said:California (D1) transfer Joel Brown told @ThePortalReport that he has heard from the following programs in the portal:

For grad school? Any decent MBA programs in that group?
Sorry for such a smart ass leading question, but I am still more angry with him than Fox or anyone else at Cal these days. I'm so afraid, he's going to screw it all up if he's not gone in short order.
