- I think they stop blitzing Kawhi up high (like they did in the 1h) but continue to wall him off from the paint (like the 2h)

- I think draymond will be super focused on siakim. I think draymond is going to come out with super energy

- I see the dubs figuring out gasol's pnr defense

- klay probably continues to struggle because they are playing him super well

- I see bogut starting (his screen setting can try to get Steph some early open looks). Bell just made too many defensive mistakes

- cousins will continue his role as a needed scoring option w the second unit. I thought he played well considering, with several good passes

I think the keys continue to be how much air space Steph/klay get and who wins the fast break points battle

I'm thinking the Raptors thought there was a serious possibility they would lose the Championship if they dumped Game 1 on their home court. I'm thinking the Warriors think there is a serious possibility that they lose the Championship if they lose Game 2.
If the Warriors get a split, Game 3 won't have the urgency but Game 4 will regardless of which team wins Game 3.

I'd really like to see cousins play a big role in a win. For his career sake.
He was set to get a max contract, and is being reduced to nothing. Kinda sad.

I agree about Cousins, but I will calibrate my empathy accordingly based on the fact his career earnings to date are $86,000,000. If he has blown through that, an additional $200 million was earmarked for the same fate.
Harold "Baby Jordan" Miner continues to make a nice life for himself and his family from the $21 million in salary and endorsement money he made in his short and disappointing NBA career.

Klay currently 69% from field. Feed him the rock until he drops to 50%.

Kawhi draws fouls with forward head butt that defender can't get out of the way of...and then Van Gundy and the expert have the unmitigated gall to complain about Curry drawing fouls.

We deserve an award for most players on roster to be injured:

Klay
And curry is ill.

Both teams have been pretty polite and well behaved.
But I expect a war to build and manifest by game 4 onward!

Hmm so let's review:
-pascal went for 12
- cousins out performed projection
- iggy played exactly 28 minutes and scored 8, not 7 points
-warriors had 15, not 13 turnovers as projected
Not sure about the transition points but they were significantly less.
Need to heal up before next game at Oracle.

They always seem to go to Bogut as a last resort, but that guy just knows what to do. Where to set screens, how to position himself on defense, etc. He won't take over the game, but he won't kill you either.

He's too old to give you big minutes, but will be solid in 10 or so.

Cousins pretty much won that game. He did so much more than just the mere stats indicate.

And he will have to do it again if klay's not healthy.

I'd also give cook more mins if Toronto isn't going to attack him on defense

Klay has been my favorite player since he was a Cougar....but if he can't play, I can't think of a better Warrior sub to have in his place than KD (even if he is at 60%). If both out...oh well....then Bogut gotta bring the Full Dellavedova.
