Good riddance! Too bad his victims didn't get to die in their 80s. If he had started a couple of years earlier, I could have been on the scene in Cory Hall when one of his first bombs went off.

By the sewer he lived, by the sewer he died, they said it was murder, but it was sewerside.

Teddie's Dead

Hey Hey - Love Love - Yeh Yeh - Ah Ha
Teddie's dead, that's what i said.
Let the man read, the plan, said it singing home
But his home was a rope and he should've known.
Everybody's misused him, ripped him up and abused him

We can deal with rockets and dreams
But reality, what does it mean?
Ain't nothing said, cause Teddie's dead.
Hey Hey-Love Love-Ha Ha-Love Love-He Hey-Ha Ha-Yeh Yeh

Why do we claim him as ours? He got his undergrad at Harvard and his PhD at Michigan.

Even though Wikipedia talks about his time at Harvard it states:

Institutions
University of Michigan
University of California, Berkeley

He was at Berkeley for less than 2 years and the psychological abuse he endured occurred during his time at the other two schools.

It is actually Harvard that created a monster by admitting him far too young and letting him participate in abusive psychological studies as a teenager.

From the New York Times:

"The miseries of his boyhood in suburban Chicago, his humiliating undergraduate days at Harvard University, the bitterness of years wasted on graduate studies at the University of Michigan…"

I say we disown him.

Babylon Bee is funny. It often mocks liberals who lack self awareness and don't understand the joke or just get defensive.

Disagree.

Funny is funny and Babylon Bee usually misses the mark.

It's funny enough that the libs running Twitter pre-Elon suspended them.

Some of them are funny, for sure. And, now and then, they will even mock the right.

The left makes me laugh sometimes. The right makes me want to cry sometimes... fairly often in these times.

At least Silvio's family is saving on the cost of embalming in light of the fact he was embalmed 10 years ago.

My sources in Rome advise that the funeral song has been selected:

FYI: Per the police report, he died hours before this tweet was tweeted, so it was likely prescheduled.

This is one of my favorite shows of all time, starring Treat Williams as a big-city neurosurgeon who moves his family to Everwood, Colorado. (You can watch it for free on Amazon.)

It aired from 2002 to 2006 on The WB and one of its stars was Chris Pratt.

I urge you to check it out if you can.

The show's narrator and co-star John Beasley died on May 30.

Maybe not on the scale of the Unabomber, but could we also outlaw A's owner John Fisher from wearing Cal gear in public? Supposedly he went to Furd undergrad, then Cal later (MBA?). He's actually more embarrassing then Kaczynski (I mean, except for the multiple murders).

The Unabomber had gender dysphoria. Did anyone remember this?

Convicted Unabomber Theodore J. Kaczynski considered having a sex change operation when he was in his twenties and his confusion over his gender identity filled him with a rage that contributed to his bombing spree, according to documents released today.

I have it on good information that helltopay1 is holding a wake for Cormac McCarthy at Rossmoor.

When asked who his biggest influence was with regard to the writing style of his comments on BI (before he garnered a lifetime ban, naturally)helltopay1 responded, "Without reservation, Cormac McCarthy, particularly this passage from his book, Blood Meridian:

"A legion of horribles, hundreds in number, half naked or clad in costumes attic or biblical or wardrobed out of a fevered dream with the skins of animals and silk finery and pieces of uniform still tracked with the blood of prior owners, coats of slain dragoons, frogged and braided cavalry jackets, one in a stovepipe hat and one with an umbrella and one in white stockings and a bloodstained wedding veil and some in headgear or cranefeathers or rawhide helmets that bore the horns of bull or buffalo and one in a pigeontailed coat worn backwards and otherwise naked and one in the armor of a Spanish conquistador, the breastplate and pauldrons deeply dented with old blows of mace or sabre done in another country by men whose very bones were dust and many with their braids spliced up with the hair of other beasts until they trailed upon the ground and their horses' ears and tails worked with bits of brightly colored cloth and one whose horse's whole head was painted crimson red and all the horsemen's faces gaudy and grotesque with daubings like a company of mounted clowns, death hilarious, all howling in a barbarous tongue and riding down upon them like a horde from a hell more horrible yet than the brimstone land of Christian reckoning, screeching and yammering and clothed in smoke like those vaporous beings in regions beyond right knowing where the eye wanders and the lip jerks and drools."

*The two times I got play faked into buying and reading every last page of a book:
1. I bought Blood Meridian because Old Country for Old Men is one of my favorite movies. The book is garbage;

2. I bought Kerouac's On the Road on the strength of reading that he sued the producers of the TV show Route 66 (which I loved) for ripping off his idea. The book is dated garbage.

I'm pretty sure there was no such thing as "gender dysphoria" until the last 10-20 years or so.

Hall of Fame tackle, ex-Oakland Raider dies at 81

https://www.mercurynews.com/2023/06/17/hall-of-fame-tackle-ex-oakland-raider-dies-at-81/

I knew Boomer. My Dad bought me a 3 month membership to the Oakland Athletic Club during the summer of '74 (between my sophomore and junior years). Bob worked out there at the time. Me and 3 other guys would spot him as he did sets of 10 with 450 lbs benching.

He was very friendly and nice….but you did not want to get on his bad side. My buddy, Danny Medlin, told me some epic Bob Brown stories from the El Rancho Tropicana Hotel training camp days in Santa Rosa.

A Hall of Fame defensive lineman, whose name eludes me, once said of Bob Brown, "If I had to line up against Bob Brown every Sunday I would retire."

*I think I remember Bob telling me that he was friends with Wilt Chamberlain, having met him when Wilt was with the 76ers and Bob with the Eagles.
