Why do conservatives care so much about which beer trans people drink or that a company might market to them? Companies market to anyone with a pulse.

How pathetic that so many people in this country are bigots and PROUD OF IT.

Why did some nutjob care about Dylan Mulvaney so much that she decided to make him the face of the company?

None of these dudes ended up on the can.
Dylan Mulvaney wasn't the face of the company. The company sent her A CAN with her face on it to thank her. It is not like her face was on every can of Bud Light sold.

Anheuser-Busch characterized their partnership with Mulvaney as just one of many influencers who allow the brand to "authentically connect with audiences across various demographics and passion points." The company also clarified that Mulvaney's can "was a gift to celebrate a personal milestone and is not for sale to the general public."

"We never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people," the statement continued. "We are in the business of bringing people together over beer."

Mulvaney has endorsed other brands such as Ulta, Nike, Instacart, KitchenAid, and Crest as well so are GOP asshats boycotting those, too?

What exactly are they worried about anyway?
Nice try.
They said those things after the fact.
Contemporaneously the VP of marketing justified the campaign by saying the brand was too fratty and needed to modernize. This was part of a strategy that deemed its massive existing customer base expendable, offensive and antiquated. That's fine, they can make whatever decisions they want about where to take their products. But consumers are not merely biggots for saying that direction isn't to their liking. Corporations who want to enter the culture wars do so at their own financial peril.
Customers are bigots if they stop drinking a beer they they liked merely because said company employed a transgender person to help them sell more beer.

There are lots of reasons I might stop using a product that employs a spokesperson I don't like. For example, if Donald Trump was used to sell Toyotas.

However, Dylan Mulvaney's only sin is being transgender. That's why the response is rooted is bigotry.
It goes way beyond the small spectrum you want to view this through. The contemporaneous messaging from the company was a combined middle finger to their existing customer base.

Conservative Mennonite Church in Jansen, Nebraska broke a decades long teetotaller tradition by approving the consumption of Bud Light. The Church board ruled that Bud Light did not qualify as actual beer.

"It ain't no sin to drink water," said Pastor David. "From now on all our church faspas will include cheese, pickles, and a round or two of Bud Light!"

The ruling came after months of extensive research from the elder board, who preferred their Bud Light with a squeeze of lemon and a few ice cubes.

"We got together every Monday night for the past few months to pray, study scripture, and drink Bud Light," explained Pastor David. "Not only did I acquire a taste for light watery beer, but I'm also now a huge Chiefs fan!"

In all those Monday night Bible studies, the men of the elder board never once got drunk.

Dont know why anyone in their right mind would want to drink Bud or Coors Light (piss beer) when there are so many incredbly delicious CRAFT BREWED BEERS out there.

This has been my hands-down go to Winner ever since I discovered it in 2019.
Henhouse Brewing, Sonoma

If money is a big factor, then I can understand choosing a macrobrew. But, yeah, Henhouse makes very good beer. If you are looking for a high-quality beer company with better distribution, I suggest New Belgium. All of their stuff is tasty, and you can find it in markets like Safeway, Vons, and CVS.
You can get Henhouse in Safeway in the Bay Area

Must be something new, cause I've never seen it at my Safeway.
I get my 4-packs at Total Wine for only $13.99

A year ago, they went from self-distributing (because their truck drivers frequently didnt show up to work) to using Morgan Territory Brewing to distribute, to using Markstein (which doesnt even use cold storage trucks).

The owner of Henhouse is brain-dead when it comes to distribution of his beer and he's gone through a ton of sales managers that are young kids that are basically clueless. It's my one big negative about the brand.

Their IPA (pale ale) is phenomenal though.
Should see a new Henhouse Brew Pub open up in Fairfax in early JUNE.

Pliny is awesome and Russian River Brewing owner Vinnie is a stickler when it comes to quality control.

I once told him that I thought that I had gotten a bottle of "flat" Pliny and he and his staff peppered me with emails within 24 hours of me notifying them. They wanted me to ship back (at their cost) the bottle that I opened and any other bottles that I had. I did, and they had come to the conclusion that everything was find and nothing was wrong with the capping process.

They then sent me a few bottles of Pliny for FREE for my trouble. That just doesnt happen in this day and age!

I like the Henhouse because it's the best single IPA that I've come across.

Very well balanced with Cascade, Simcoe, Mosair, Belma, and Hallertau Blanc hops.
Medium bodied with an initial floral and tropical citrus fruit flavor which gets balanced out by pine and a long dry bitter finish. Absolutely delicious and a super easy drinkable brew.

There used to be a rinky dink little brewery in the Placerville area that had the best tall blonds and a watermelon beer that they legally had to call watermelon wine because of the high alcohol content. I loved going there. And this place in Half Moon Bay on the beach had this great cherry beer.

I wish I drank more.

I know, right? I was driving through Piedmont the other day and I was like, "Is this more like Beirut, or Bakhmut?" It was hard to tell which! Hey, a city is a city is a city, I guess...

Piedmont is what, 3 miles from east Oakland? Beirut is safer than east Oakland...
Richmond area is/was the same way. There's some very nice areas and some very rough ones. You had old town Richmond right by the San Rafael Bridge is very nice and El Sobrante is pretty nice, but can get dangerous on Cutting Blvd and the area by the gun range forget the name.
