To be clear, the U.S. taxpayer is not getting $700 back because of Trump's having cut $110 Billion in spending.

And for some strange reason, you appear to be totally ignorant of the debt ceiling being increased by $4.5 TRILLION.

This is a good read. After going through the details, DOGE's claimed $55 billion in savings is down to $6.5 billion. It's a comedy of errors, like listing a cancelled contract as $8 billion dollars when it was $8 million dollars or listing the entire amount of multi year contracts when say 4 years out of 5 have already occurred and 80% of the money has already been spent. Also, there's no acknowledgement of costs incurred by cancelling contracts early.

The employee who was reprimanded and brought back... employees who work proactively w DOGE and provide valuable insight should gave first shot at retaining employment, and possibly bonuses.

Allocating a percentage of DOGE savings for payout could be a great incentive for people within government to report waste, fraud, and abuse.
