Two things. First, it always astounds me that people don't bother to spend a couple of minutes researching the stuff they post.
Second, the info you posted above floored me. If I'm doing the math correctly (always a dicey proposition) those 34,000 households averaged nearly $6 million of taxable income in excess of $1 million. Not increase in wealth, but taxable income.
Curious, I looked it up. The mean household income is about $128,000. The median various by borough, from $46,000 in the Bronx to $106,000 in Manhattan.
