I will happily rip the worthless Democratic Party up one side and down the other, but this is a bad critique.
People vote for parties, but the reason is because nobody has the courage to stand up and say what they themselves believe in. They all just suppress whatever they actually believe and adopt the stances of their party, making all of the candidates equally worthless. So then if the party "changes" its stance to become less unpopular, nobody actually believes it. They know they're being pandered to for votes, just like when Kamala pretended she was going to be tough on the border after showing zero interest in the border as VP.
People want authenticity from their politicians. This is why Graham Platner and Thomas Massie are currently popular in their respective parties because they are not cookie cutter faceless party representatives. They have critiques of their own parties and strong stances that they've taken that are their own that people respect. They want politicians that actually stand for something instead of telling you what they want to hear (aka Trump saying he's against forever wars and then he supports a genocide and starts a brand new war with no provocation). That's the fastest way to instantly get the voters to turn against you.
If you're a candidate for office in the worthless Democratic Party, all you need to do is support things people want. Don't be a worthless cookie cutter politician like Hakeem Jeffries.
