So why is Soros' partner Stephen Bessent our Treasury Secretary appointed by Trump?

Have you ever asked yourself that question?

Or did you get duped again?

Why did Joe Biden award George Soros the medal of freedom?

SCOTT Bessent, who rose up to the title of CIO of Soros Hedge Fund Firm, left in 2015 to start his own firm. He wasn't a political partner. Thanks.

DOGE claims a whole $165 Billion in cuts.
Its not even close to that.

Magats are so stupid and gullible.

They thought Musk was the Miracle Man and was gonna make $2 Trillion in cuts ... then $1 Trillion in cuts, then ....

If President Chump has such "Big Balls", then why is the national debt running at an unprecedented 7% of GDP?

Magats conveniently ignore that.

Politicians and Wall Street all seem to think short term.

DOGE Step 1 cuts of $165 Billion should be immediately accepted, explained, and start building the next phase of cuts. These are also relatively easy cuts. Argentina still holds the mantle for leadership cutting waste and fluff.

Title: How Republicans Can Win 2026: Cut Deep, Cut Now

"Enter the Department of Government Efficiency, previously led by Elon Musk, which has identified over $200 billion in unnecessary federal spending. ***Yet the rescission package currently under discussion, barely $9 billion, borders on insult. *** It is not a budgetary scalpel. It is a plastic butter knife.

"…Let us be clear. A meaningful rescission package must not nibble at the margins. It must reflect the scale of the problem. If DOGE has found $200 billion in waste, why not propose half of it? A $100 billion rescission package, strategically constructed, could achieve three goals: demonstrate seriousness about fiscal restraint, codify Musk's emergency pauses into law, and dare Democrats to vote to restore waste…."

"…Passing a $9 billion rescission bill would be an asterisk. Passing a $100 billion bill? That would be a headline…."

"If Republicans want to keep the House, retake the Senate, and fortify Trump's second term, they must deliver a genuine fiscal victory. Rescission is not just a budget tool. It is a test. Of will. Of vision. Of fidelity to the promises made.

"Cut deep. Cut now. Or prepare to be cut down in 2026."

I bet the markets would love fiscal prudence. Argentina is loving it.

He's smart in one particular area: seeing a market for a new thing to build and scaring up the cash/resources/people to build it. His political instincts are less solid.

Once again, you demonstrate that you have no idea what you're talking about and am unable to answer a simple question.

Here, let me help you since you appear to be terribly ignorant on the topic.

For starters, the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget estimates the bill would add $3 trillion to the debt, including interest, over the next decade.

The annual federal deficit is projected to grow from $2.2 Trillion a year in 2025 to more than $2.5 Trillion in 2035.
This is probably why the yield on the 30-year treasury bond topped 5% last week.

I thought that Donald Trump was supposed to cut spending and fix our annual deficit.

Apparently, Elon is not a fan of Trump's spending and going into more debt.
Hope this helps your understanding.

You're welcome.

You are insufferably pompous.

Yes, 'projections'... my guess is the tell will be if Trump endorses a large rescission bill. (See above.) $100 Billion good, $200 Billion (DOGE cuts) better.

Thetw are explanations WHY there are not spending cuts in the Big Beautiful Bill from Stephen Miller:

"DOGE cuts are to discretionary spending. (Eg the federal bureaucracy). Under senate budget rules, you cannot cut discretionary spending (only mandatory) in a reconciliation bill.

So DOGE cuts would have to be done through a rescissions package or an appropriations bill.

The BBB is NOT an annual budget bill and does not fund the departments of government. It does not finance our agencies or federal programs.

Big Beautiful Bill includes:

- the single largest welfare reform in American history
- the largest tax cut and reform in American history
- the most aggressive energy exploration in American history
- the strongest border bill in American history
- All while reducing the deficit

You either don't understand this, you're mendatious, or both.

You are terribly gullible and easily impressed.
You clearly did not go to CAL.
It's obvious.

$200 Billion is NOTHING when Trump's House GOP Budget increases debt by $2.6 TRILLION over ten years!

Trump's Big Beautiful Bill also includes a provision to raise the debt ceiling by ANOTHER $4 TRILLION to allow the govt to keep borrowing thru the 2026 midterms.

You're just not very bright.
