Sure, that's why I said "more than." But the difference in effect appears to be more than slight.

We also don't control the war in Ukraine the same way we did in Iran (yes yes, I know you think NATO really started the Ukraine War but that's nonsense), so it's a different kettle of fish.

I was up in Washington State (Tri-Cities area) earlier this week and regular was $5.79/gallon. $6.19/gallon in the rural boonies. It's $4.89 here in Oregon.

You might want to post prices in your area for CHEVRON for an accurate "apples to apples" comparison, especially given the fuel additives like Techron in CHEVRON gasoline.

Posting claims of "other" prices is obvious conflation and irrelevant.

ie). A CHEVRON in Whittier shows Premium at $6.59
