Democracy is overrated. Socialism, communism, and Marxism appear to be more popular these days.

They called FDR a Socialist, too. But his economic policies created the largest & most prosperous economy & Middle Class in world history.

I invite you to read Mamdami's speech from last night & find anything remotely "Communist" or "Socialist." What I see is a willingness to use tax revenues to provide essential services for NYC residents.

Zohran Mamdani: "We Can Demand What We Deserve"

There was a time in this great nation when OUR Government made investments to Promote the General Welfare of We The People. Our beloved University of California is a prime example. It's an investment in the education of the People of California -- NOT a private business!

Mamdami's election in the "Democratic" Party primary in NYC represents a sea change in U.S. politics.

"Israel First" / American Empire hegemony & war-mongering are OUT.

Improving the lives of American Workers is IN.

Americans also elected Obama, a socialist, to the presidency.

All these terms- Socialist, Communist Fascist- are meaningless in terms of contemporary US. They are kept alive by the two parties to stoke fear and obscure the fact that we have two parties- conservative Republican and moderate Republican.

This appears to be a victory by young people and a rejection of political establishment and kneejerk false flags, anti- semitism, state control, Muslims, etc.

Good for them. They need to wrestle the control of their future from their moribund and corrupt elders

MTG posted a circulating meme of the Statue of Liberty being symbolically replaced by a woman clad in a black burqa, she got the right response there:

The guy wiped the floor with Cuomo, firebrand young politician:

Trump owns Adams and all that goes along with that. Adams will be the next mayor of NYC. It won't be left to chance. Full stop.

Mamdani better with higher educated, higher income, higher Hispanic

Cuomo with lower income and African American

Fetterman is a semi-brain-damaged tool, but he's also right on occasion: It's seeming like the two wings of the Dem party are drifting apart, which has to be bad news, unless someone can come in (from eother side, or the center) and unite everybody.

Neocons like Fetterman and their astroturfed influencers attack Mamdani because he doesn't comply with the zionist agenda, but Big Apple red tape and institutional rot are among the main reasons the upstart won. Cuomo or Adams weren't going to fix these issues, they are as rotten as it gets.

One of the fun stories is that the governor runs New York City's subway. And they ended up hiring a guy who was really good at his job. He was so beloved, he was referred to as "Train Daddy." And Cuomo was so jealous that he essentially forced the guy out.

Mamdani is a classic coastal liberal, grew up in NYC, went to Bowdoin, father is a Columbia prof and mother is a famous film director (Mississippi Masala, Salaam Bombay, Ameila,...) He can relate to his constituency.

But it's cool if they do it but if I dare call it out I am the problem or I suffer from mental illness lol. GTFOH. I guess they expect me to be uneducated / not well read but then again to them I can only be a nameless faceless body never to be respected or even considered to be a rational autonomous human. If one is the descendant of chattel slaves to them I am only property. Sing dance or carry a football or just shut up and dribble.

Eastern this was not in anyway directed towards you at all you are 100 in my book. Those accounts who have showed their arse time and time again know I am speaking directly to them.

Mamdani is a member of the Democratic SOCIALIST Party, the "country's largest Socialist organization." He is literally a socialist.

But thanks for the personal attacks about my level of intelligence - it allows your post to be an all time doozy for the immensity it's stupidity, naivety and irony.

That's kind of the same meme as the college Gaza protests, trust fund kids doing sleepovers on the quad labeled as jihadi terrorists.

Hitler's Nazi party was officially the National Socialist German Worker's Party, but they were hardly socialists. What's in a name?
