Most jurisdictions require a special permit to create and sell ice cream products. It is a health issue and is not absurd. This is different than merely selling prepackaged products.

It's doubly absurd, the notion that having ice cream on the menu for a restaurant is an additional health hazard requiring a special permit, why create another layer of bureaucracy when the safety requirements for handling raw/frozen meat for example are already in place and are more stringent than for dairy. Why can't the same board also cover dairy, this requirement is a great example of unnecessary red tape hurting small businesses, taxpayers and consumers alike.

The other absurd aspect here is an alleged conservative chiming in in favor of more red tape on small businesses and restaurants.

More Mamdani Derangement Syndrome. The guy was a kid when 9/11 happened and is the current mayor of the city. Why object to this?



The actual started reasons are a crazy game of telephone, connecting Mamdani to people who didn't actually do 9/11 or any terrorism at all but maybe were kinda sorta connected to someone who did or vaguely expressed support for it some time. Nothing about the man himself or his actions.

PR stunt devoid of facts. A currently estimated cost of $4 Billion to replace 1.5 miles, with ten years of construction estimated to start in 2030. Option B was a $10 Billion tunnel. Costs typically explode.

I think your post is facts devoid of context. Are you trying to say 1.5 miles is inconsequential in NYC? Manhattan is only 2.3 miles wide. Are you trying to say $4 billion is not achievable? New York City's GDP is $1.9 trillion. It's embarrassing that previous mayors couldn't get this going.
