Communism is very much a religious dogma, a toxic brand of secularism. This would also apply to Nazism as well, a secular ideology rooted in the occult (see Blavatsky and the Thule Society).

They have a Nazi obsession with the American West theme woven into this season's Dark Winds storyline. You don't see that in your average TV drama.
