Why do you think Kamala is unpopular among Democrats, even less popular than Biden? If she's so unpopular, why did the Democrats replace Biden with her?
Why is Trump so unpopular with Republicans, even less popular than Bush? If he's so unpopular, why did the Republicans allow Trump to run again and replace his VP candidate with Vance? What the hell is going on? So unconstitutional.

And he is far more popular than the milquetoast sellout GOP figures you seem to like like Haley, Cotton, Pence etc. According to the recent YouGov poll above, Trump is the most popular active Republican politician.


We are using the same standard he used. Apparently some nobody saying Harris is unpopular is sufficient to write that. Otherwise. What is the basis for saying that Harris is less popular than Biden? Because there are plenty of Republicans who say Trump is unfit. More so than Bush. Is that sufficient to say Trumpmis unpopular?


Harris is an unpopular figure, as demonstrated by her complete flameout in the primary run of 2020. Her popularity today boils down to the fact that Democrats and some establishment GOPs hate Trump.

The basis for saying that Harris is less popular than Biden is the fact that Biden fared a lot better than her in that recent primary race.

Not really.

As well, Trump in 2016 brought a lot of independents into the GOP tent, as well as some Republicans who were sick of the Bush Forever Wars, which you as part of the Cheney/Haley crowd seem to favor.

Trump won me over in 2016 when he single-handedly destroyed the Bush dynasty in the debate with iJeb!, and went on to destroy the Clintons in the general election. He pretty much lost me with his endorsement of the Gaza genocide, where he is just as bad as Genocide Joe.
Well, you could argue that Trump is an unpopular candidate by losing to someone like Biden and losing the popular vote to someone like Hillary.

Harris now is different from Harris then. In 2012, Trump was not even taken as a serious candidate. Does that historical fact make him not a serious candidate now? What is the support for Harris now relative to Biden? How can you say that Harris is less popular than Biden now?

I understand your support for Trump. There are quite a lot of your more libertarian, nationalist (who may have been formally on the far left side of liberal) like you. I get the appeal. He is no conservative. He is an anti-competitive, high regulation (especially social and M&A), anti-global, and anti-immigration (even legal) that would have been in the Democratic socialist party with support for manufacturing and mining class.

That's just not me. I think those policies are failed policies, and making US irrelevant and outside the global influence will not make US any safer, and forced social engineering in global competition will not raise the standard of living or generate innovation.
