Did Kamala grow up with some type of disability?

Why would CBS risk losing what they have left of their reputation to protect Kamala Harris?

I worked a company called Newberry's as a kid for a few months. Couldn't tell you the address at this point. I have no records of that that job. I doubt they do either.

I don't get the line of questioning or what's happening here. What job did Trump have as a teenager? Licking Roy Cohn's shoes?

I worked at a grocery store for one month in 1980. I got the job as a second job (parked cars at the other one) because I had just dropped out of Cal due to falling so far behind in classwork while playing JV baseball. Guess I pissed the grocery union off because the store fired me in a month. I had no idea why. Not sure if those records are around but I was getting a formal paystub and having taxes and such taken out. You'd think they could find Kamala's work records if they wanted to. Maybe it's a Canada thing and it's just not worth the effort. Just as easy to throw out baseless allegations. Now why would any honest political group do that?

In August, 1979, after I took the Bar exam (the results came out Big Game Saturday in November), I took a job as a law clerk at a San Francisco firm specializing in trucking law.
My second day on the job, one of the partner's summoned me to his office. He handed me a box and told me to go to a deli and pick up sandwiches. My response:

"Sir, the way I look at it, I didn't go to law school for 3 years, study 56 days in a row for the Bar, take the Bar and buy this 3 piece suit so that you can treat me like a gopher. Pick up your own sandwiches. I quit."

That a-hole firm got the last laugh on me. When I was preparing my tax return the next year I forgot I had ever worked there. They sent me the W-2 at the last minute and I had already filed my return. I had to amend.
A month later I got hired by an Oakland firm and stayed with that crew for 36 years.

I'm in legal as well. A tale known all too well.

I would have gotten the sandwiches.

Which Oakland firm, Crosby, Wendel or Fitzgerald?

Vice President Harris would be stupid to provide more info just for MAGAts to drag up some liar to say they were there and never saw her. That's what this is about. She's smart enough to not take the bait.

MAGAts want to talk about this and Arnold Palmer's dick. They are the stupidest movement in American history.

I forgot about the geese in Springfield, OH. So, to recap:
1) Where did Vice President Harris work 40 years ago
2) Arnold Palmer's dick size
3) The geese in Springfield, OH

Exactly. I worked at a gas station the summer before I started Cal and a bit into my freshman year. (It was the car wash one, near Bertolas and Kasper's Hot Dogs). Said station no longer exists, but I am able say the exact location and approximately the period that I worked there, even after 40+ years.

All she needs to do is supply the specific information (what McDonalds and when) and that would be it. While I doubt she's fabricating this, maybe she worked there for such a short period of time that it would be a little embarrassing to be claiming it, if the specifics were revealed.

No, it's not a huge deal, but she's supposed to be the candidate that doesn't make s*** up, right? People like me are going to vote for her anyway, but some folks on the margins base their votes on not-really-well-informed impressions.

Useful idiot that I am, I am disappointed with the vague way that Harris and Walz answer a lot of questions. I used to be a big fan of Walz... less so since he flubbed that experiences-in-China question during his debate. There are better, more direct ways of responding to some of the "gotcha" questions that they are asked....

For example:
- "five years ago, you said you were for _____, but now you're not"
- "how will your administration differ from Biden's"
- any question about why she didn't solve the problems of the world as Vice President
- any question that blames Biden for the inflation we had

Are Trump and the Republicans even worse? Sure they are, but we could be doing better, is my point. All that said, I think VP Harris has performed decently well the past three months.

That wouldn't be it. Within a week some MAGAt liar would be out there saying they were there and never saw Vice President Harris. Then that would be the news cycle until right wing media decided they had a shinier trinket.

I worked fast food as a teenager. I could give a location but I couldn't prove it. If somebody called me a liar about it, I couldn't disprove them. Vice President Harris is smarter than you.

Anonymous highly placed Harris campaign insiders tell NBC that NC is slipping away and that Michigan may not be far behind. Not giving up but expressions of problems for the campaign. VERY odd for insiders to go public like that.

Mark Halperin notes that early voting in certain key swing states is definitely favorable to Trump, that if the trend remains Trump wins.

Judges in Michigan and North Carolina separately rejected RNC lawsuits on UOCAVA or overseas voting in US elections.
The RNC in Michigan challenged the rule by Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson that voters who never resided in Michigan could cast their overseas ballot and have it count in Michigan.
The Michigan judge said the lawsuit was an attempt to "disenfranchise" voters.
