That's interesting.

Rodgers is wrongly attacked by a reporter tweeting a WSJ article wrongly attacking Rodgers.

Bahktari and Rodgers go after the reporter, instead of the author of the WSJ article and other liberal media wrongly attacking Rodgers. The reporter also wrote about misconduct from a buddy of Rodgers a little while back.

In turn, anti-vax folks threaten the reporter. Reporter wonders why she was singled out. Does that sum it up? What ended up happening to her?

Wait, you think the Wall Street Journal, before but especially since it was bought by Rupert Murdock in 2007, is "liberal media"?

Liberal tweeters . WSJ just shills for Big Pharma.

Except liberals are generally not fans of Big Pharma. That is very different than understanding science, the efficacy of vaccines, face masks and quarantines and the desirability of using them to save lives. :-)

When Biden got behind the vaccines, liberals followed. Obviously, Big Pharma is also behind the vaccines as Pfizer made $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. The enemy (Big Pharma) of your enemy (Rodgers) is your friend. So, yes, the liberals are now fans of Big Pharma. We aren't having a conversation about vaccine efficacy right now, except to say that professional athletes playing outdoors shouldn't have been forced or strongly pressured to get covid vaccines.

Biden is not a liberal. He is about as centerist as you can get.

Sure theoretically football players probably don't need to care about spreading a virus and infecting others while playing, but they are also in locker rooms before and after and they need to ride on airplanes to get to the games.

Realistically (not theoretically), a football player who had covid somewhat recently is no more at risk of spreading covid to others than a player vaccinated somewhat recently, yet the player who had covid was still forced or strongly pressured to get vaccinated. The broad, overreaching policy also kept Djokovic from playing in Indian Wells and the US Open twice. Hopefully, we can acknowledge how silly it is to vilify Djokovic for not getting vaccinated.

Except 1) the NFL policy allowed for exemption if your antibody level was high enough and 2) Rodgers got COVID later, after saying he was "immunized":

Players who had covid were treated the same as those vaccinated? Please provide the details. Also, everyone got Covid later, after saying they were "vaccinated." Heck, I got it 4 months after my booster.

The post count turns dark grey next to topics with new posts. Those topics also go to the top of the forum. I often read and sometimes respond to new posts. You sometimes post 60+ times per day and are very opinionated, so it is not unusual to be responded to. Thanks.

I have been saying this for the last three years. It's becoming clearer and clearer that our response to Covid was driven in no small measure by Fauci's desire to not be attached to the GoF research he knowingly was funding. His duplicity will eventually be seen as one of the most venal, cynical, harmful to society actions in history.

Why more people aren't more angry about this leaves me doubting our future. It's too late to stop what happened, but not too early to stop it from ever happening again. To do that, people need to come to terms with the role they played. And, I think, have the humanity to show contrition.

Because people have drawn teams. If you are against taking this vaccine, you are against taking all vaccines, and that makes you a racist nazi who hates science.

and a Republican.

If you're in favor of the vax you are a soyjacking dem who probably also hates science and babies. Taking this vaccine means you love autism.

Can't wait for the 4th of July when we as americans can all come together.

It's truly depressing.

This week we learned that National test results show reading and math scores for 13-year-olds have continued to worsen since the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. It's going to make it harder for these kids to succeed in high school and beyond.

Most chillingly, National Center for Education Statistics Commissioner Peggy Carr said she thinks
"There are signs of risk for a generation."

As a society we have sacrificed are childing because we bought into the fear. As a society we were cowards. And we did the worse thing any society can do, put our interests above children. And many, many on these boards went along with those policies, and viciously attacked anyone who questioned them.

I, and a growing number of people I know, absolutely refuse to just turn the page.

But it's Fauci for who I have the greatest contempt. He is the most duplicitous, evil person in my lifetime. And far too many people enabled him and continue to do so, despite the overwhelming evidence. I call it Melbourne Syndrome.

I feel the same way about Jan. 6th.

They are angry but they can't publicly hate Fauci, the pharmaceutical industry, or the entire public health system. It's easier to hate Aaron Rodgers.
