And I heard that only 54% of Americans read at the 6th grade level.

1. A majority of Americans cannot name a single branch of government or explain what the Bill of Rights is;

2. 24% can't name the country that the U.S. fought in the Revolutionary War;

3. 2/3 don't know what the holding of Roe v. Wade is;

4. 2/3 don't know what the Food and Drug Administration does;

5. 50% don't know each state has two senators;

6. More than 50% can't name their congressman;

7. The average voter thinks 24% of the U.S. budget goes to foreign aid (less than 1% does);

8. 18% thinks the sun revolves around the earth;

9. 50% don't know that Judaism predates Christianity

"America has been trending stupid for a long time. Now the stupid wants out of its cage, and Trump is urging it on.
..….he [Trump] ran into the total stupidity of America that embraced every dumb thing about him, and that chemically interacted with his narcissistic personality and it turned into this unstoppable force."

I think this means we need to find and join a chat board with a higher IQ and/or level of education.
Like, no wonder we are often so frustrated - we are debating with mental midgets!

There are a handful of people here that fit that description.

According to Elon Musk, the payment approval officers were told to ALWAYS approve payments, even to fraudulent groups or terrorist organizations!

"They literally never denied a payment in their entire career. Not even once."
Perhaps the refusal was due to DOGE officials not having had background checks done and not having security clearances. Do that and they'd have a better argument.

Quite a few of those office were unused because people were working from home and agencies were moved to smaller offices. Now that people are being ordered back to work in offices, those agencies are stuck with not having enough offices for all their employees. I know of one agency that has 1/2 of the offices and 1/3 of the parking spaces that it needs. But hey, we saved $45 million!

I think we can all agree that Musk is in this for us, the people. It's undoubtedly a truly unselfish motivation here.

Undoubtedly. As an employer, he has always been in it for his employees and had their backs. That is my postmodernism "My truth."

It's sufficient that you "believe " it is true, even in the absence of, or counter to, any evidence.

This is MAGA Land! Facts and evidence are woke!

Mike Benz isn't the subject matter expert that you seem to think he is. He's just another MAGA social media shill. Or, "journalist" as the MAGA Cult calls them.

He's also a white nationalist. Probably a liar, too.

Who cares? Trump gave away all our national security secrets last time around, and he will do it again. That is the only reason a Manchurian Candidate like Tulsi Gabbard is a Nothing Burger. The horses are long out of the barn.

"A federal judge today paused the Trump administration's "buyout" offer for federal employees, which had been set to expire tonight.

Multiple judges have now ordered freezes on President Trump's plan to end birthright citizenship.

Lawsuits involving Elon Musk's takeover of federal agencies are just getting started, but they're already resulting in some limits on the DOGE team.

The big picture: The courts are one of the only real threats to slow or stop substantial parts of Trump's agenda and they're doing it, Axios' Sam Baker writes."

*Trump has to go full Il Duce to get his unconstitutional and other illegal sh@it done because the courts are going to thwart him and on the SCOTUS he can only count on Thomas and Alito to be 100% corrupt 24/7. I suppose Trump could refuse to follow a court order…and then we see who the military backs…..and it could be Trump.

He seems to be awfully "triggered" today.

I guess this is what happens when you are unemployed, can't find work, and all of Biden's DEI hires have relegated you to living at home with your parents.

Sad really.

By transparency you mean he set an arbitrary cutoff time to sign a document that accepts a non-funded retirement buyout, then yes, he is all about transparency.

What's more, they've been sending daily emails to us federal employees and each time the deal changes because they don't know what they are doing and have to make changes to cover things they haven't thought of. The last few days have been pure high pressure tactics. "This offer will not be extended and it is likely that you will face a Reduction In Force in the very near future." Not the exact words, but close. I've received 4 emails so far today with changes.

It seems to me that anyone who is alright with the unconstitutional stuff that's going on sure had better not be one of the people that previously clung to a claim that they loved the Constitution. I'd strongly caution against being cool with this, because the public is fickle and can swing the other way. The slope is slippery, peeps. Trump is gonna die sooner or later. He's a master at what he does. He may not have a worthy successor in that game. Set a precedent on this now and you may be eating s&*t in a few years. This isn't good for anybody.
