Those items on the left are almost all small towns with recent plant openings. The column on the right is big cities and more indicative of the economy in general.

Liberal policies including widespread open hard drug use in urban cities, no cash bail, 20 million new illegal immigrants, retail theft not prosecuted, defund police, record inflation, excessive regulations and energy taxes, and 4-5 prisons closed in Cali eventually have an effect. Even 'harmless' drugs like marijuana lower motivation and can reduce adolescent IQ up to ten percent, making the future adults less employable. The chickens have come home to roost.

And yet CA enjoys $4.1 TRIILION in annual GDP.

Why is that if it's such a ****ty crime and drug infested place to live with tons of homeless and illegals, according to you?

How is it the 4th largest economy in the world?

In spite of Liberals. Businesses still fleeing, Newsom has a huge budget deficit.

Why do you always answer a question by asking yet another question?

Is it because you are a TROLL?

PS. In my younger days, I spent 10 years living in NYC.
Been there, done that.

WRONG AGAIN.

DID YOU REALLY GO TO CAL ?

CA IS A NET DONOR STATE.

FACT: IN 2022, CALIFORNIA RECEIVED ROUGHLY $132 BILLION IN FEDERAL FUNDS WHILE CONTRIBUTING ABOUT $468 BILLION IN TOTAL REVENUE.

USING NON-COVID NUMBERS, CALIFORNIA SENT $126.5 BILLION MORE TO THE FEDERAL GOVT THAN IT RECEIVED. MEANWHILE, TEXAS RECEIVED $44.6 BILLIION MORE FROM THE FEDERAL GOVT THAN IT SENT.

DUH.

You grew up in a nice time. Per google, New York was a vibrant and bustling place in the 1920s, marked by a booming economy, a flourishing arts scene, and significant cultural shifts, but it also had its contradictions, including stark economic disparities and social tensions. It was a time of great excitement and change, as skyscrapers went up, jazz music filled the air, and new fashion styles emerged.

He is technically correct. California received roughly 132 Billion in Federal Funds while Texas received 88 Billion in Federal Funds in 2022. Yelling in all caps seems to somehow hinder your reading comprehension.

Newsom had nothing to do with our economy, but now we find out LA / Newsom policies in SoCal were to 'let it burn'.

He chose to spend tens of Billions of dollars on illegal immigrants, helping to put us in a financial hole, and he can't account for how over $20 Billion was spent on drug addicts (aka homeless). He'll have to defend that record, including California being the #1 welfare state.

Newsweek: "U.S. construction starts jumped 21.1% in October to $1.53 trillion, fueled by data centers, manufacturing, and LNG facilities."

Nine mega projects starting.
