That sounds like what happens when my wife talks to me though I don't get told that I was good and I don't end up with any ice cream.dimitrig said:
I'd be surprised, too.
I have an elderly relative that I have taken to these appointments. They tell her three facts to remember. She has to recite them back after hearing them. She usually can. About 10-15 minutes later they ask her again. She can often remember one of them, sometimes two with some hints. They tell her how good she did for her age and then we take her for ice cream.
for defense in depth '82 suggest you employ the wholly effective / proven smh defense: yeahbut i dint hear you dearest (hearing aids nailed to the shelf), and as everyone knows my forgetter operates at at least 150% efficiency.82gradDLSdad said:
Some of my least favorite words from my wife, "I already told you that". Sometimes she has, sometimes she's only told me in her own mind. Good times.

You would think that the Commander in Chief would know if one of his soldiers was murdered and would have offered their condolences to the slain soldier's family and assure them that justice would be sought on their behalf but instead, we have Captain Catastrophe as Commander in Chief.bearister said:
Just now watching a snippet of Jose Diaz Balart interview of tRump. Balart asked tRump about murdered female soldier Vanessa Guillen. tRump prefaced his answer with, "Ueah, I heard about that on the news..." DUDE, YOU ARE THE F@UCKING POTUS! AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO HEAR ABOUT THINGS OF THAT GRAVITY IN A BRIEFING?
Lou Saban was a head coach in the AFL and NFL in the 1960s and early 1970s. Wikipedia says he and Nick Saban are distantly related, possibly 2nd cousins. Confusing someone in the current day with someone from 50+ years ago is another sign that our stable genius might not be all that he used to be. If he ever really was.dimitrig said:okaydo said:
