From what I've read, a top Republican super PAC pulled their funds from North Carolina back in October after months of poor polling and outraising from Cooper's campaign.

Never mind that the Republican Party picked a candidate that no one knew and who had never held public office. His opponent, Michael Whatley did nothing but push "attack" ads on tv.

Cooper on the other hand had been Governor and held statewide positions with an approval rating over 50% in the months after he had left the governor's mansion and had NEVER LOST A STATEWIDE RACE.

Cooper's campaign slogan was literally "Make Stuff Cost Less"

Didn't Tequila just move to North Carolina?
