"The polls" collectively have been absolute garbage for many election cycles now. They are largely useless.

Rs have made big gains in registrations. Early voting numbers are not showing a big blue wave. However, history tells a big lesson about midterms - I believe there are only 2 exceptions.

The cartoon actually is most telling. Trump is in SC and Vance was in Texas. I received a flyer in the mail from the D senate candidate. On the ground stuff tells us who's on offense and who's on defense. That matters.
