Rs have made big gains in registrations. Early voting numbers are not showing a big blue wave. However, history tells a big lesson about midterms - I believe there are only 2 exceptions.
The cartoon actually is most telling. Trump is in SC and Vance was in Texas. I received a flyer in the mail from the D senate candidate. On the ground stuff tells us who's on offense and who's on defense. That matters.

The Latino vote abandoned Trump.
You'd have to be trapped in a Newsmax bubble to be clueless about this.

Yeah, given what has happened it's hard to see Minnesota, Michigan, or Maine going red in this environment (granted, Susan Collins has pulled off a miracle before). And you have to favor Peltola in Alaska too. That's 55.

Its early, but right now it looks like the HIGHER PRICES from tariffs and the war in the Middle East has not been a "small price to pay" for most American households.
Trump picked candidates are not doing well.
I stand by my statement but yes America appears to have spoken. America is great like that. I hope dems actually try to work to get things done instead of wasting the next two years talking about Trump.
Sore loser whininess is not going to stop our joy tonight.
Welcome to the Blue Tsunami!
VOTE BLUE EVERY ELECTION
I definitely wasn't a sore loser, if anything the exact opposite. I hope the best for America always and I hope the dems can do a great job as I do all our elected officials.
I know you don't know how to be a good winner but that doesn't mean everyone is a bad sport.

Seems pretty clear that a lot of these folks were deep in a newsmedia bubble that wasn't showing them what was actually happening. (Early voting numbers were, in fact, showing a big blue wave.)

After we impeach Trump, try and convict him in criminal court and then put him in prison, I hope my Democrats settle down and take care of the important things... such as taking over the means of production.

I really didn't think it could happen, but the Democrat might actually be slightly favored based on what counties are outstanding (though obviously it's still super close). Would be absolutely insane to see Blue Mississippi.
It's nice to see the Solid South getting broken up a bit and Republicans maybe actually having to compete in SEC country. Might go a long way towards dialing down the polarization and extremism.
they also had better candidates and not handpicked Trump stooges which were a turn off obviously. No spinning it.DiabloWags said:B.D.Bear said:
