Police respond to protests about police brutality with... police brutality.

However, I want to say that I have happened to have had the bad luck to stumble upon two protests over the last two days and the police were quite accommodating so who knows what is really going on across America?

Notice all the videos of police abusing journalists. Not "citizen journalists" with an iPhone, but credentialed professionals on the job. Haven't seen or heard of a single instance of protesters attacking journalists.

Q. Where are the right-wingers to defend the 1st Amendment?

A. Right-wingers only defend civil liberties when it's in their interests. Obviously.

Not video, but great job police. Another dangerous anarchist put in her place.

Note: I've seen video/photos of demonstrators attacking people who confront them (the old white lady with the knife in the motorized wheelchair, and the bar patron chasing a demonstrator with a machete) but I've yet to see or hear of a single instance of a protester attacking an actual bystander. It takes professionals like police officers to be that careless.

Thanks. Though for the record you said "More than a couple journalists have been assaulted by protesters" and this link mentions only two: the Fox News reporter in Washington and a TV. reporter "hit by a rock" in South Carolina. And in the second instance, there is no way to know whether the "assault" was intentional. In all of these videos, the police assaults on journalists are very clearly intentional.

Edit: for the record, I condemn the assault on the Fox News reporter. Fox News is a right-wing mouthpiece, but its journalists still deserve to be protected in their right to report.
