Yes and my point is I can care less about who picks lettuce. Nothing wrong with picking

And the point that I made earlier about undocumented immigrants doing the picking that supports a $59 BILLION DOLLAR Agri-Business in the State of California flew right over your head like the "quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog".

In case it still hasn't registered with you, WHO is going to do the picking of crops if undocumented migrant farm workers are all deported as Trump wants?

Did you ever consider that?

Or do you think a bunch of WHITE FOLKS will be doing the picking?
lol

The H-2A program allows U.S. employers to bring foreign workers to the USA to perform temporary agricultural work. The program is part of the Immigration and Nationality Act.

It's not the cheapest solution for Farmers given that they're required to pay for flights and transportation, housing, meals, as well as pay the workers, who in return, earn a living to provide for their families back home. Legal costs as well.

$18.25 an hour picking apples in Minnesota.

It is absolutely hilarious that people are claiming that illegal immigrants are paying into social security using fake numbers (as if that's a good thing). The reality is that the vast amount of illegal immigrants are working under the table (i.e., not on payroll, but for cash). This is particularly true in the mom and pop shop restaurant industry and construction industry.

If a large number of hispanic crop pickers is no longer available in the U.S. labor force, then there will be a short-term shock to the system. Prices for agricultural products will rise in the short term.

As always, the system will adapt just fine. Wages will rise until people who have never worked in the industry are enticed to get an agriculture job. Yes, that likely will include a lot of white and black people and asians of all types. At the same time, improved technology will lead to productivity gains, resulting in long-term net benefits. It would be good if government benefits were made much harder to get, so that people would feel compelled to work.

I laugh at you politically biased drama queen idiots.

Canadian academic Gad Saad, who speaks five languages, says that before he became famous, Middle Eastern men told him this in Arabic:

"The West is a woman to be mounted."

He says the terminology they use is more vulgar. Virtues we have like kindness, empathy, etc, they view as weakness.

Rising wages for agriculture workers = much higher food prices = much higher inflation.

I look forward to your ideas for improved crop picking technology.

Given the worries about farm labor, we could offer refugee status to South Afrikaans (Dutch farmers) who have been violently attacked and often killed. That fulfills a humanitarian and agriculture need.

Apparently President Trump has suggested or offered that. South Africa is a failed state, unemployment is now about 50%. It rivals Sweden for rape Capitol of the world.

In this video, South African politicians openly talk about killing farmers, and there are over 100 laws against whites. The YouTube comments from former or current Afrikaans are chilling.
