The whole thing is a mess: our politicians didn't have the backbone to close the border and deport criminals, cartel members, law breakers. A chunk are nihlists, Communists, young people, foreign nationals, druggies, and radical Leftists don't care about America or the West for a variety of reasons.

But most law-abiding citizens are against this madness, open drug bazaars (homeless), cheap, powerful drugs, 80,000 Americans a year dying from fentanyl from CCP China.

Democrats, WEF, Globalists appear to despise the West and take some perverse glee in simultaneously destroying the civilized Western world. It's interesting that the Green New Deal ushered in a lot of the undermining, skyrocketing energy prices, destroying industries, economies, and 'working class' jobs the newer immigrants rely on.

Cloward Piven? Who theoretically was / is supposed to support hundreds of Billions in annual welfare payments?

That may be what you want, but that's not what Minot was advocating. He was advocating doing to them what we're doing to people on boats off the Venezuelan coast. Making them no longer exist.

You're the one suggesting that millions of people shouldn't exist, though you used the mealy mouthed "Some people" dodge to try to act like that wasn't necessarily your opinion.

If they were deported they would no longer be illegal aliens. Illegal aliens would no longer exist because by definition they would no longer be illegal aliens when back in their country of origin. Hope that helps.

Words have meanings. If that's what he meant, he should have used clearer language. That happens a lot around here. I picked on that example because the worst case interpretation was so horrible.

Let's add some facts to this post, since the unstated implication here is that non-citizen married to U.S. citizen shouldn't be deported.

https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/how-i-married-us-citizen-us-citizenship.html

Quote:

When a U.S. citizen and foreign-born person decide to marry, they often assume that U.S. citizenship will follow almost automatically. That's far from the truth, unfortunately.

Quote:

First, let's get one important thing straight: Marriage to a U.S. citizen makes someone eligible for U.S. lawful permanent residence (a "green card"), not for U.S. citizenship. (At least, not in the short term.) Having a green card for a certain number of years can make the person eligible for U.S. citizenship. But it's a two-step process, at a minimum. In short, even if the U.S. citizen husband sponsors the immigrant, receiving approval from the U.S. government doesn't turn the immigrant into a U.S. citizen right away.

NOTE to anyone who isn't in the exact same situation: Procedures differ for applicants who are living outside the U.S., or who are inside the U.S. after an unlawful entry, or who are marrying a U.S. permanent resident rather than a citizen. See this chart for the various procedural scenarios.

Okay. I think a person in this situation probably should be be getting a green card, not arrested at an immigration appointment and taken away from her children. That "unstated implication" was yours, not mine.

Your mileage may vary.

Facebook: Donald Trump for President

" BREAKING: ICE Los Angeles has re-arrested Victoria Sorocean, a Moldovan fugitive convicted of premeditated murder with exceptional cruelty after she was released into the U.S. under the Biden administration in 2022.

"According to DHS, Sorocean tortured her victim with an electrical cable and a stick, then threw her from a 9th-floor window.

Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said:

"It shocks the conscience that the Biden Administration released into America a cruel, violent illegal alien who tortured a human being, beat them with an electrical cable and a stick, and then threw her victim from a ninth-floor window."

She continued:

"These are the types of barbaric criminal illegal aliens ICE is targeting every single day. 70% of all ICE arrests are of illegal aliens charged or convicted of a crime in the U.S. This doesn't even include foreign fugitives like this convicted murderer."
