Long term accountability will be coming for ICE agents who break the law. They and ICE crimes are being documented. The smart thing for them to do would be to find a new job now because when when a colleague of theirs breaks the law in a shared operation they could also be culpable.

Good quote from the article:
[ICE] officers are on the frontlines arresting terrorists, gang members, murderers, pedophiles, and rapists," but "thanks to the malicious rhetoric of sanctuary politicians, they are under constant threat from violent agitators."
Would be nice but ICE doesn't actually do that. Isn't it pretty to think so though

It is also pretty to think that Renee Good and her wife were just innocently hanging out passively documenting ICE's activities. You probably presumed they just got there and boom, picked on by ICE, am I right?
They were actively protesting and the ICE agents wildly overreacted to it and killed one of them.
Sure, actively obstructing ICE with a car while screaming F bombs at them. When ICE asked the driver to exit her car, she drove toward an officer who was only a few feet away. Is this the type of moron you support? And, yes, I can admit that ICE could have handled this much better.
Well, I've seen the videos and the larger context here, so I have a different take on it:
1. Renee Good and her wife saw that ICE was in the area, decided to park on a local street and set up to protest, honk horns, block a lane, generally be annoying to ICE.
2. The degree to which ICE was truly "obstructed" is pretty debatable, in my view. Yes, Good's car was blocking a lane. We can also see on video that cars were able to pass her without much trouble, so the ICE vehicles certainly could have done so as well. Those of us who have lived in moderately crowded cities see this all the time, cars blocking a lane on a residential street for one reason or another. Most of the time you just go around them, unless there is truly no room for that.
3. ICE is not local police or traffic enforcement. Their job is not to clear the roads of traffic, it's to find and capture illegal aliens. So if they were truly focused on this core goal, they would have just driven around Renee Good and been on their way. It's obvious they could have done that. They had a different goal in mind.
4. The fact that (1) they stopped to demand she get out of the car and (2) one of their other colleagues (Jonathan Ross, the shooter) had pulled his car up
behind Good's car, which would make it harder for her to leave and clear the road, tells me that these ICE agents were not focused on their primary goal of immigration enforcement (there's no reason to believe that Good is harboring any illegals), nor even with just clearing the obstruction in front of them. They went into this encounter with the goal of detaining a protester and making an example of her, probably because they find her and all other protesters very annoying (guilty as charged!).
5. As as way of furthering this goal of detaining a protester they found annoying and making an example of her, they marched up to her car yelling commands laced with expletives ("Get out of the f***ing car!"), allowed no more than three seconds for her to comply with this command before immediately tugging on her car door handle (trying to force their way into the car), saw Ross place himself in front of a running vehicle against all proper protocol and training, and then saw him fire his gun into a moving vehicle (again against all protocol and training . . . shooting a driver is not good for public safety, because now the car is out of control). They call the dead woman a "f***ing b***h" for good measure after this encounter.
So, did Renee Good and wife do some dumb things like block a lane to do their protesting and try to drive away while cops were surrounding their car? Yes, that was dumb. The ICE agents also clearly went in spoiling for a fight and escalated the situation against all reason. Instead of just driving around an annoying protester, they instigated a conflict and created a justification to shoot someone. A good police force would have all of these guys on suspension after seeing that tape. Unfortunately, we have a federal government who is going to lie on their behalf and deny everything, and so we see public approval of ICE falling like a rock because most people who saw that footage agree with me. So it goes.
