Okay then.


The killing was tragic. ICE responded very aggressively to Pretti's unlawful obstruction, and Pretti doesn't appear to comply. While they are trying to subdue him, they discover his gun and ammo, which escalates the situation. Unfortunately, an agent, thinking they are in danger, fires at Pretti. The whole thing sucks.

Some folks on the right are critical of Trump for talking with Walz; some people on the left are critical of Walz for talking to Trump. That goes a long way to characterizing the mess we're in, when the President and a Governor aren't supposed to even communicate with one another.
