Gas companies' "ripping off" consumers is not Trump's fault. If you want to be less affected by this, use less gas. If you care enough to, organize a group of people to use less gas. If you care enough to, organize a protest of gas companies and their profits. This could further demonstrate how not not liberal you actually are.
