That was known and posted on 10/6. I can't believe Ruiz and Martinez continuously boxed in the DHS car on the highway for 20 minutes and broke several traffic laws and even drove in the oncoming traffic lane sometimes to do it. That must have been scary for the officers. It sounds like the officers broke under the pressure of the criminals and shot at Martinez's vehicle after the cars collided. What a crazy story. Liberals are absolutely unhinged and many ICE agents aren't the best officers.

So republicans radically change things in "reconciliation", which requires 50+1, and then they don't want to negotiate on annual appropriations bills, which requires 60% - they just saying Continuing Resolution as a More of the Same vote.
No. Democrats did not approve the Reconciliation bill and they therefore do not approve of continuing it again.

The current stalemate would seem to require making at least a few concessions to the Democrats. At least that's what usually happens when you don't have the votes. Insisting that the Democrats give the Republicans everything they want while not conceding anything the Democrats want isn't negotiating and isn't bipartisan. I'd say at this point the shutdown is the fault of both parties. Since I'm not getting paid right now, this is affecting me more than anyone else here, so I'm hoping some adults emerge and get this resolved soon.

Dems didnt vote to cut healthcare for Americans when Trump's tax cut for the rich bill was passed and there's no reason for Democrats to vote to cut healthcare for Americans now. Republicans control all of government. They can pass the legislation they want.

Able-bodied non-parental adults can work 20 hours per week to get HC subsidies, a pretty modest contribution instead of being a freeloader.
Dems didnt vote to cut healthcare for Americans when Trump's tax cut for the rich bill was passed and there's no reason for Democrats to vote to cut healthcare for Americans now. Republicans control all of government. They can pass the legislation they want.
