I shouldn't even feel the need to qualify myself to a troll like you but when someone questions something that I put my heart and soul into, it really irks me.

My students are confident, capable, and well mannered. They get into the top private and independent high schools in the Bay Area and have some of the highest placement scores of all applicants. I'm regularly rated as a top teacher in my school and feedback from students and parents is always positive, highlighting my ability to connect and my ability to expect a lot from my students while still teaching fun and enjoyable classes.

Working at an independent school, I don't have the luxury of tenure or unions. This means I have to prove myself and my teaching year in and year out. Been at the same school for 10+ years for a reason.

I don't make my school calendar, not sure if you've ever worked in schools before but you clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

Idk where you randomly came from but I have said many times on this board that I keep my politics out of the classroom and work environment. It is not my place to tell students what to think, just to help them learn how to think critically and make their own decisions on their beliefs and attitudes towards things.
