Is this video supposed to teach me something?

We listen when minorities speak. Isn't that what the left says?

I listened. And?

And nothing. You just listen. You can't go against a minorities statements. You're a racist then.

See how dumb that is?

Sure, I never agreed with that kind of thing.

But this guy isn't even really saying anything.

So close, and yet so far....

Explain it to me like I'm 5.

Try re-listening to the video, but instead of focusing on what he's saying, try paying attention to the responses he's getting in the video. If that's too difficult for you to understand, maybe political satire is just too complex for you.

I want you to give me your explanation of what you think he's satirizing and why this satire needs to be directed at me. Don't dance around, state your case.

Since Yogi has declined to do so, I will guess at what I think his point is supposed to be:

He thinks that his repeated suggestions and insinuations that the Democratic Party is weak and feckless and allowed this to happen are news to me. Guess what? They're not. I know the Dem leaders have been weak as f*** on this stuff. I don't think that is a more pressing concern than what the Trump government is doing right now, but I know. So this "satire" doesn't need to be presented to me like it's some big revelation, thanks.

The girl had a nosebleed, they didn't refuse her life saving treatment. Such a misleading post once again

The medical experts with ICE were able to determine this in a hospital parking lot before detaining the child?

I imagine it was clear to everyone that she had a nosebleed. If you've ever been around kids, nosebleeds are a part of life. Would you have preferred they broke the family up? I thought the left was against separating families in these situations.

I would prefer they let the hospital check them out first, since they were there for a reason. I would prefer that people who are actually trying to use the legal immigration system properly not be disappeared to detention centers.

Your false choice is ridiculous.

There was no false choice. The family is illegal. They either separate the kid from her parents or arrest them all.

If you really wanted the asylum system to be respected then you should have told the Biden administration to stop letting people claim false asylum because now all asylum seekers are under intense scrutiny.

They will have the right to go in front of an immigration judge and their status in this country will be determined as deemed by law.

In that case I encourage this government to take its case to the American people and see if they like families getting this kind of treatment. Should be an easy boost for their popularity.

77 million+ people already voted for this.

Okay. Every President had a lot of people vote for them. Many have become unpopular due to how they governed. And?

Unfortunately this video clears up nothing. I was really hoping this woman's angle would give a clear view of whatever happened but it doesn't and this will just fan the flames on both sides of the argument.

He easily could have been reaching for his weapon and it sounds like ICE agents identify a gun, "Gun gun" before the shooting occurs. It also doesn't clearly show him reaching for a gun, not that I can see at least.

What is the justification for ICE agents approaching these protestors (who are backing up to the sidewalk), shoving one to the ground, pepper spraying another and trying to take his phone away? The guy never pulled a gun out until, possibly, the time when multiple masked agents had wrestled him to the ground and were beating and pepper spraying him. And we aren't even sure if he actually pulled out his gun or if they just saw it on him.

Unnecessary escalation and unjustified shooting. Like Renee Good.

Yup.

ICE didn't care about the judges order for release.
They don't care about violating the 4th Amendment either.

"The case was quickly assigned to a judge, who signed an order for the toddler's release at 8:10 p.m. Jan. 22, attorney Irina Vaynerman said.

Roughly 20 minutes later, the lawyers learned the child and her father had already been placed on the flight to Texas. They were transferred out of state within about eight hours of their detainment.

"To me, that is clearly part of this effort to try to evade the court's jurisdiction," said Vaynerman, the CEO of Groundwork Legal. "We have never seen this level of depravity with a 2-year-old."

On Jan. 23, she said the girl has been reunited with her mother, but wasn't available to provide additional details."

The order seems to terrorize people into leaving USA

Kinda like what we did to the native population - just grind them down into oblivion.

They were impeding a federal law enforcement operation and blocking the road.

Nah this is entirely different. What happened to Native Americans was we took over their home. All around awful. Illegal immigrants are taking over our home, we aren't invading their countries and decimating them. Very different situations

Everyone should watch this. This is the environment that our administration has created. For everyone that has brushed off the march towards this being something that happens, shame on you. For anyone that's been "simping" for these people, this is what you've helped create. I hope you're thrilled with what you've helped create. I also hope you start to speak up in opposition. They apparently disarmed a dude and then executed him.

Right, which means that once they were complying and clearing the road there was no reason to assault them. Being annoying is not a reason for use of force.

Also because the government has surged a huge number of agents into Minnesota. It's a political show of force because of Tim Walz and the Somalis. I promise you they don't think there are more illegals in Minnesota than in Texas or California.

Because they "surged" placing hundreds of agents into the community to essentially conduct street patrols. It is ridiculously provocative - ESPECIALLY in respect to law enforcement personnel who are NOT trained for this.

Look at the most recent shooting of an american citizen. So many questions. Why is the pepper spray deployed aggressively? Why are these officials so poorly trained to not immobilize arms and legs (training would be for ONE officer to grab EACH limb? Why do they REAMAIN in mismatching uniforms creating chaos. It is either incompetence or explicitly done to provoke. I am sickened and it is mostly about how BADLY they are trying to do this rather than the policy itself (I agree with democratcy - elections have consequences - that they would be trying for mass deportations akin to operation ******* was a promise he made hundreds of times. He won. But christ allmighty do it right.)

I'm ignoring nothing. I voted for this as I've said over and over and over again. I want all illegal immigrants out of the country. If you impede federal agents in that pursuit, the outcome is on you. A judge has rules ICE is allowed to use force on those impeding and blocking their ability to do their job. Actively working against HOW? Don't parrot talking points. What they are doing is what hundreds of agencies have done - say that they will not "cooperatie" with ICE. That policy I agree with - because under even the most optomstic wet dreams of this administration there will be THOUSANDS of undocumented aliens in these communities for years and Local LE needs their cooperation to DO THEIR JOBS.

Be as much of an apologist as you'd like to be for the way this is all unfolding. That's clearly something you've decided to be up to this point. As best I can tell, it's a really bad look and you're on the wrong side of things in terms of evaluating whether the way ICE/the administration is carrying things out is the right way to go about this.

They "surged" because Minnesota's officials are blatantly working against ICE and the federal government. As you said, this was promised through the election cycle and Trump is doing what he said he'd do

They have repeatedly refused to hold illegal aliens on detainers. They have repeatedly used rhetoric to encourage impeding ICE investigation. Walz and Mayor Frey are on the news daily belittling federal agents who are trying to enforce federal laws.

They were impeding a federal law enforcement operation and blocking the road.

They had moved off the road and they were still shoved and pepper sprayed. Come on now. We can see the tape.

They only moved out of the middle of the road when ICE came towards them and then still were in the road, not the side walk. Come on now, we can see the tape.

They were impeding and a judge has ruled ICE can continue to use tactics of force including pepper spray

I'm ignoring nothing. I voted for this as I've said over and over and over again. I want all illegal immigrants out of the country. If you impede federal agents in that pursuit, the outcome is on you. A judge has rules ICE is allowed to use force on those impeding and blocking their ability to do their job. Take it up with the courts, not me

They were not impeding and your argument is bunk. That's the last I will say to you on this matter.

Blocking the road and blowing whistles to alert to their presence is absolutely impeding

Bullets are force, so you definitely have the moral high ground here. That's a solid look and you seem to be really nuanced in your evaluation.
