The Hollywood Reporter article notes it is the most expensive documentary of all time and the promotional budget of $35M is up to 7 times that spent to promote a documentary film. I wonder if they can bulk purchase tickets like they bulk purchased Don, Jr.'s book up the NY Times list?

The hallmark of a successful movie is whether it makes a profit or not.
