What's amazing is how readily the base of idiots slurps up the obvious lies.
An aunt in law recently posted that wasn't it interesting that Biden no longer appears to have dementia. They are now saying that he was faking dementia so he could plead mental incompetence if he lost the election and had to answer for all of his crimes with Russia and China. I wish I were joking but this is how MAGAts think. And this is coming from a sweet, if not sophisticated, middle aged lady who just can't separate fact from fiction any more due to all the gaslighting.

Quote:
In their conversation, Graham questioned Raffensperger about the state's signature-matching law and whether political bias could have prompted poll workers to accept ballots with nonmatching signatures, according to Raffensperger. Graham also asked whether Raffensperger had the power to toss all mail ballots in counties found to have higher rates of nonmatching signatures, Raffensperger said.
Raffspenger said he was stunned that Graham appeared to suggest that he find a way to toss legally cast ballots. Absent court intervention, Raffensperger doesn't have the power to do what Graham suggested, as counties administer elections in Georgia.

Republicans are allowed to do that. This won't be a big deal at all.
But if a Democrat did that, oh boy!!!

Why can't the Trumpers quit the gaslighting? Stop misusing words, lying, changing the goalposts, and just saying whatever? Why don't you just say what you actually believe? Stand for something? Let's have the real debate, the real conversation where you just come out and say what your position is. Things like:
You choose authoritarianism. You think Trump is the best man in the country to lead us and he should make all decisions for us all like a king, and that it is fine if he only governs for people loyal to him. That loyalty to a president is important. You think we should have one party. You think Liberals should not have a voice in governing the country. You think wealthy people are better and that the economy should operate for their benefit. You think that stopping abortion and owning guns are the two most important issues and that all other rights or policies are subordinate. You support a theocracy. You think that anything that is socialist is bad--or rather, that anything called socialist is bad because presumably you like all sort of things that actually ARE socialist. You think that nothing Liberals are proposing is good and none of their positions are legitimate, and that anything you disagree with is not just wrong, it's either fake or a hoax. Right? Some combination of those?
I grow so weary of the Trumper tactic to be just mock, vent spleen, and say what they hate, but never actually say the values, principles, or positions they stand for--other than vague references to "liking Trump's policies." So how about they start stating positions clearly and in the affirmative, own them and not hide behind canned talking points and sarcasm.
