Except this doesn't happen. New-arrival immigrants are maybe one generation favorable to the party that helped bring them in, and then future generations become about as swingy as any other.

No, I care about the fact that he's been prosecuted for political reasons and is a bright, shining example of this administration clearly refusing to admit a mistake and doubling down on it into infinity. It's not about whether or not he's a wonderful human. If the legal system can be abused against him, it can be abused against anyone.
