Aren't illegal voter registrations from non-illegal immigrants still illegal?

Trump's mass deportation plan for undocumented immigrants could cost billions a year - CBS News

We spend hundreds of Billions on illegal immigrants, and their future families post Amnesty. What would be the benefits of deportations?

1. Reduced strain on housing and energy
2. Lower costs for housing (reduced Demand)
3. Increased wages for Americans
4. Lower unemployment
5. Lower welfare, food stamps, and Head Start costs
6. Reduced wait times at ERs and VA Hospitals
7. Reduced strains on schools
8. Increase in Black employment
9. Reduction in cartel and gang members
10. Reduction in drug trade and human trafficking
11. Safer cities

Construction has many legal Americans currently employed. Wages would need to rise and benefits to attract American and legal workers. If needed, we can bring in more workers from other states or our own territories. If need be, we can also issue limited work permits.

Agriculture - we've always had various ag employment programs - H-2A Temporary Agricultural Worker Program and National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP) to attract foreign workers for temporary or seasonal agricultural work when they can't find enough domestic workers.

If needed, offer Afrikaners protected migration status.

Service economies - businesses are already automating to reduce headcount. Raise wages and benefits to attract the willfully unemployed, partially employed, etc. Drug rehab and legal consequences could help route nonviolent offenders to work while we stem the flow of drugs. Employ nonviolent prisoners in select areas, while still providing prison housing and services.

A friend relocated back to Montana bc he couldn't get steady enough work and benefits as a carpenter, his second occupation. Employers hired younger, cheaper, often illegal help. And I've seen some sloppy work by inexperienced illegal help. I have a hunch that some general contractors and developers are making a killing with this shoddy work.

I saw a home in the Atherton area last month, unbelievable. The project manager and website boasted of their quality, skilled work. Yet I could see in the new build, custom SFH, sunlight between the tall custom slider patio doors and the door jam! There were shoddy details - a 16" chunk of flooring in a visible location (not a long strip), cheap Chinese finishes, etc.

Prisoners should work at least enough to pay for their incarceration. Everything above that should be at least minimum wage that they can keep when they get out.

A mass deportation plan that is enforced and carried out will cause major social problems.
It'll never happen.
They want the rage, not the fallout much less a solution.

They'll never pay their cost of incarceration or for their crime(s). But they deserve some motivation, whatever the going rate is, for commissary.

Deport violent criminals, other criminals, a clever approach will also cause self deportation.

Wow . . . I guess employers might have to raise wages to find workers. Imagine that? Or we could have a guest worker program if need be.

And, of course, the USA can and SHOULD have more legal immigration. People who have waited their turn, followed the rules, been vetted for security and other risks, and have skills that match the needs of the employers you seem to care so much about.

We should take a number of legal immigrants that can be properly integrated without imposing an undue burden on local communities.

This is just a strawman argument. The fact that the US may need more (cheap) workers is not an argument in favor of MASSIVE AND UNCPRECEDENTED ILLEGAL immigration.

The vast majority of people who are against illegal immigration do not hate the people who come across, they hate the consequences that these people bring. It's not that we don't care about their well-being, we just care more about the well-being of the people already in this country with a right to be here.

It's remarkable that we even need to point out that not every person in the world can live in the US. Or that the immigrants of today are not vetted and bring don't bring the skills that a modern economy needs, unlike immigrants of the past. Also unlike past immigrants, they are a huge drain on government resources at a time when the country would be bankrupt if not for central bank monetization of the debt.

As is the case with all unsustainable trends, cannot and will not continue forever. All roads lead to inflation, and adding tens of millions of people who disproportionately add to the government service burden while producing less than average economic output only adds fuel to the inflationary fire. Ironically, the people hurt most by it are those earning low wages and have limited financial assets, a demographic that includes many people of color. Sadly, some people think if you ignore the law of unintended consequences it will go away.

Why?
So you can complain about inflation again?
Or complain about a stagnant economy, GDP down?
You choose, because both would result.

I think this is called a "Permanent under class".

Or, did you propose to give them citizenship after X amount of years?
And if so, please explain your position on Dreamers.

Or maybe you'll accept workers during their primes? What ages are okay for you, 25-50? Are they allowed to marry and have children while here?
What happens to the children when the parents age out of this so-called "guest worker program"?

Please. Tell us how your "guest worker program" would work?

Will they be allowed to wipe your ass for you when you become old and senile? Or just pick your lettuce?

Conveniently you chopped up my post to ignore my support of LEGAL immigration. I'd prefer to fill jobs that way.

But if that's not possible, then guest worker programs might be the solution in some industries.

And to answer your question, there is an existing guest worker program. I don't have to tell you how it "might" work. It exists.

https://www.farmworkerjustice.org/advocacy_program/h-2a-guestworker-program/

Is there a reason a low wage/low skill worker needs to be offered permanent residency or citizenship?

And, laughably, you're ignoring the fact that the people here illegally due to Biden/Harris are the real permanent underclass. They live in the shadow economy where they can't get upwardly mobile jobs because it is illegal to hire them.

Not to mention the illegal immigrants who come here with criminal intent (drug smuggling, human trafficking, gang/cartel business) or turn to crime due to the poor options once they're here.
